As of now, Ganguly won purely on the basis of BCCI Politics and Mr. Dalmia. But, Can Ganguly win matches on his performance? Can Ganguly walk to bat in the indian stadiums without Boo's from the crowd? Remember last time he batted in India, the crowd boo'ed Ganguly in the ODI's against pak, before he was banned from playing the rest of the matches in that series. It is interesting to see, how long Ganguly will play in those circumstances in the home stadiums. Today, Gavaskar jumped to rescue ganguly saying that Ganguly is hard worker blah blah.
