I disagree

Mr. Dalmiya is not as great a compromise-master as this article seems to suggest. To make things a little clearer the BCCI- review comittee was nothing but a useless/worthless exercise as it had no executive powers. To claim it as a compromise is bluffing oneself. This is more like a governmental enquiry commission.

Messrs Shastri, Gavaskar et al could only recommend to
executive comittee which (of course Mr. Dalmiya controls it all) would take action.

Both Mr. Dalmiya and his protege (Mr. Ganguly) are a burden to the current Indian cricket. However, given our (indian) records I am pretty sure, Ganguly would be the Captian of India for, say, he is 50 or as long as Dalmiya is in charge of BCCI.
