This article is good, but i somehow dont agree fully on what has been said. I agree that people like to see Tailenders trying to put up some fight in front of great bowlers, but thats one aspect of it. The powerplay is a good rule as it makes the game exciting during 25-40 overs time.
Imagine, Yuvraj singh in that position. Wont he love to have open spaces to free his hands. No problems with this rule. But i am a lill skepticle about Super Sub rule.
Well to the utter disappointment, The person who is incharge of making these rules, is a deserter himself. Mr. Sunil Gavaskar, one who instead of helping team INDIA is trying to make the game more interesting. Well, to me he is one of the most boring players in the cricket history.
Remove Sunil Gavaskar and things will automatically improve....
