By and large, the media has been supportive of Ganguly. The public through media exerted its pressure on the selectors like Kiran More and Chappel. They were, therefore, reluctantly compelled to include Ganguly who was unreasonably and unceremoniously shunted out of the team. With people like More, Chappel and Dravid around, it is indeed a difficult task for Ganguly to prove his worth as they would like to get rid of him at the slightest opportunity. But Ganguly is made of sterner stuff. Pawar should play a prominent role hereafter.
