Laxman Out !!!
by Dilip Tahiliani on Aug 14, 2005 12:35 AM

What have the selectors been fed on??? Throwing out VVS Laxman is not the doing of a sane mind.

How does Virender Sehwag deserve a place in the ODI side inspite of his poor performances in the last year in the ODI arena!!! The chap talks about scoring the first ODI double hundred & struggles to get to 50.

The Indian Cricket Board, Dalmiya & Co., should come out with a VRS scheme for underperforming oldies like Ganguly & Tendulkar. Do they add any worth to the team??? Ganguly at the crease resembles a bull in the middle of the expressway. He was hardly at ease in the tri-series in Lanka, struggling to stroke the ball.

Greg Chappell will forever be remembered for his underarm tactic. He wishes to blemish his record further by coaching the Indian cricket team. Good for him, after he is through with my national team he will be remembered for something even worse. His memory will never fade.

VVS Laxman has to be the unluckiest person in Indian cricket. His skills rank second to none, yet he is put on trial every second day. Haven't we seen it earlier with Sidhu & Manjrekar. May the almighty forgive the selectors for their misdeeds.
