Its worth mentioning about a man who was branded as out-of-form captain for 3 years, but, still able to complete 10000 runs taking just 3 innings more than the genius Tendulkar. Well, if it is still called out-of-form then so be it. it means the worst of Ganguly's form still betters the best forms of people like Dravid etc. Also, it is good to see him back and leading with Dravid for the current series. Except for media hype, it is genuine to get him back to captaincy which he was not handed over for the current series due to the imposing ban. On the field, Indians look more like fighting for their places than for the team. People like Kaif were happy to come in during the last 10 overs and sacrifice their wickets for team s cause. This is Sourav s team. But, now I am afraid that these people are more worried abt their places. If Greg wants to strengthen the bench, this is not by debilating the confidence of the gifted and selfless playes like Kaif. Thats why India still needs Ganguly as captain. By setting attacking fields, one cannot be a Captain with mettle. This should be backed by instinctive impulse like what Sourav shows and hence he is precious as Captain, the leader he is.
