Very few want to join army
by Pyare Mohan on Dec 21, 2007 08:23 PM  Permalink

Now days every youngster wants to join some comfortable job like software, manufacturing, services, marketing and other high paying jobs.
Army is struggling to find good fresh recruitments bcoz army job is
1)very demanding
2)salary not as good as software
3)family life non existent
4)thankless job(only human rights violation done by armymen is highlighted by the media, not the effort that the army takes so that indian citizens can sleep peacefully)
Sooner or later goverment will have to force ppl to get into army like it is done in USA

Hero
by Usman Zaheer on Dec 21, 2007 07:04 PM  Permalink

Heroes like Harshan are the main reason why we are safe. There are no words to describe the greatness of this young man. In all the bad that happens in India due to politics, religious fanaticism, Harshan gives us hope that all is not lost in India. I thank their parents for giving birth to such a great man.

He will be the inspiration for Generations!!
by jose kattoor on Dec 21, 2007 06:30 PM  Permalink

To Mrs & Mr Radhakrishnan Nair,

27 years back I passed out from the same school that Harshan had his education from. Sainik School Kazhakootam, Thiruvananthapuram. He is the true example of the values that the school instilled in us.

As I sit with my kids and show them the valour of Harshan, an inexplicable sense of pride and patriotism envelope us...

We can only say sir, that your son, through his limitless courage and supreme sacrifice has become an inspiration for Generations!! All of us salute you and fervently pray to Almighty to grant you the strength to bear this loss!

Jose
