I salute to this young man who was so brave - tears rolled down as i read. your parents and the entire country is proud of u. Thanks Rediff - after a long time one article which will make this site stand apart.
I am glad rediff published this kind of article after a long long time. This kind supreme sacrifice should be n must be highlighted everywhere with banners, posters, media campaign. But sadly our media have more news about politicians, film stars and if time and space permits they write or say 2/3 lines. We need to change this attitude towards our real heros. Who does the supreme sacrifice to keep us safe n secure.I salute you Captain Harshan and many unknown heroes like you. Jai Hind

Agreed !!! I would like to convey my thanks to rediff for publishing this article. However it has been disappointing to say that our Media is not the playing the role of watchdog effectively.Salaries and perks should be astonishingly high for these men who give their today for our tommmorow.
A heartful Salut to Brave Harshan. we all indians are proudly say you are the real heroes..no one is greater then you(No politician nor celebrities). your name will remain in our country history forever.
Tawang to Thiruvananthapuram or Kachchh to Champai found there are many unsung HEROS. They keep young and all inspired in life. He wil be alive within us for ever.
First of all, salute to this brave son of Bharat Mata. He has made the supreme sacrifice. Its now upto us to contribute ,by whatever means, make sure we dont have govt responsible the big political blunders which costs us sons like captain Harshan.
