NEW DELHI, March 31: Even before the post-mortem reports of India's disastrous campaign in the Caribbean are handed over to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on April 6, its senior officials already seem to be aware of its possible content and the events that transpired in the run-up to the debacle.
"Coach Greg Chappell and manager Sanjay Jagdale's reports will be submitted to the board on April 6. After going through them, we will take a decision on the future course of action. But we are also aware of certain incidents that took place off-the-field among the players," said a top BCCI official. It is now getting apparent that groupism in the team was rampant during India's World Cup campaign.
"There are five players in the team whose attitude needs to be sorted out," the official stressed. When asked to name the players, he suggested names like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh and Ajit Agarkar.

In the name of experiments like new blood and so on India team was tactfully destroyed by the Aussie coach.
Blunders in short. a) Changing captain. b) Forcing experiments on a winning team. c) Destroying India's strength in the name of experiments, d) Destroying key players one by one, international ploy masterminded by Chappel, and More, and meekly accepted by captain knowingly or unknowingly, f) Captain's failure to motivate the team and using the team to its strength, g) Captain's failure to take right decisions on winning the toss, field setting, bowling changes and so on. h) Greg Chappel as coch and Dravid as captain are two worst things that could ever happen to Indian cricket.

its really ridiculus that India cant find a replacement for sachin from 100 crore population... Its not against Sachin (he was a great player) but my statement is against the selection comittee whos is being payed to select the BEST FROM THE REST......
I am sure there are a lot of guys who are better spinners than kumble, they just didnot have the right connections to move up. India wil find a better spinner than kumble. This Guy was mediocre at best, never did any good against good teams outside India.

back your statement with some facts and figures, im sure a lot of people have contradictory opinion to what you have said.
Now that Mr Kumble has retired we have a one GREAT spinner remaining Mr good fo nothing Bhajji. Kumble known for his commitment and dedication and no spiining ability did a great job. As for Bhajji probably he can play gully cricket only.

Dear Sachin, Learn something from Kumble. I think Sachin is not mature otherwise he could have taken retirement from ODI.Probabaly he will play 2020 World cup and if he made 10 runs per match he will score 20000 runs by that time for HIM only not for INDIA. He is not a match winner but a personal scorer.

sachin is still good in patches, maybe he can opt out of less important tours, and concentrate of quality opposition, whatever it is, he's still got the technique. he just cant retire inna hurry. the problem is replacements arent quite consistent. we desperately need qualitative analysis, and just do away with personalities.
Both Sachin and Saurav are very popular in Bangladesh. The Bangladeshis were very happy when Saurav come back to the team. We want to see him as the Captain courageous.
He is more intellegent than sachin, sourav, sahwag, who will be kicked out in a day or two, this guy showed smartness by announcing retirement two days before getting a kick. That way he can get some sympothy lost in this disastrous world cup of ours.
