Anil Kumble, no doubt is one of the greatest Spinner entire world have. It is unfortunate that various Indian skippers never trusted him to include him on every match. He is absolutely match winner. Had he played in all the three matches in the current world cup we would have been in Super Eight. The mistake of Rahul Dravid resulted in India%u2019s unfortunate and untimely exists from World Cup. A committee needs to be appointed to find out why he was not included in the playing eleven in all three matches. Had all the Skippers given him chance in all the matches he would been at least equal to Shane Warns record in number of wicket if not more.
I hope Anil Kumble after full retirement few years down the line dedicates his life for producing match winner bowlers like him.
Kumble hold the undoubtable place in the team and undeniable part in many wins till he got the injury in 2000.
Dont mislead others writing "was never an automatic choice in the one-dayers"... check twice before writing anything... ur article is to be read by a lot others.

bhajjie is a decent bowler as well i suppose. maybe the selectors and pwors that be have to manage our cricket team better
Yes Really He is a Legend. But today no other Indian Cricketer didn't have the DEDICATION & No Commensence, B'coz they are playing for a GREAT NATION. I wish him (Kumble) ALL THE BEST for his TEST CAREER and his FEATURE.
anil kumble is the kind of spinner who always performed well but was not rewarded for it.in and out of the team in such a long career-inspite of the fact that he always performed.he lacks the glamour of the game just because he is a bowler.he is equivalent to sachin dravid and ganguly but we rated him average.his abscence against bangaladesh brought us on our knees.he could have made a lot of differene.but this has happened a lot of times when we underestimated his power and capability.the best thinker-he played the best mind games against the best batsmen in the world n got them out.we enjoyed watching him for 15 yrs.i respect his generosity.a gentle human being and an avid cricketer.miss u jumbo............
