Very few cricketors knew when to retire and very few cricketors received such a send off which kumble received;a standing ovetion and lots of love of teammates;very toching scene;yet he kept his cool;didnot show his emotions;never got carried away;maintained his dignity and self respect;its all part of his upbringing by his parents;most noncontrovercial;remember how he tried to bridge huge gap between two rival groups at Sydney;when you see such a towering personality you are bound to say 'yes ultimately its spirit of sportmanship and cricket that remained conspicuously present inspite of so much of controvery at sedney. anil godhamgoankaer biloli

Kumble was an unique spinner who can't be compared to any other spinner. He was not a great spinner of the ball but varied his line and length and got enough bounce to deceive any batsman. He was very unpredictable.

A real great fighter to the core has hung his boots. He commands respect from his own team mates and opponents as well with his well meaning behaviour. It is not an easy task to gather 619 wickets. He has a class and that can only be a reason to get to such figures. He was a trier. He does not give up. Now that peole who were after his blood will be staisfied, we have to see what happens to INdian cricket team's performance in the next series against England, which is immediately after this Aussy tour.
He is truly a legend on his own either on the field or off the feild. He is a great fighter with true spirit. He matches Kapil in his true spirits and played for the country. we really enjoyed these fab 5. one thing is sure youngesters have to learn from kumble and kapil about commitment and hard work. its true we are going to miss these fabulous five, but memories will cherish. we had a great era of cricket with this fab 5. no one can fill this gap in indian cricket.
Without going into the specifics, he is perhaps the only bowler after famous 70s who could always give the feeling of ripping through the opposition with his most versatile repertoire of bowling varieties and he has been the only match winner for Indian cricket for a very long time. He with his unconventional bowling always induced scare among the opposition to negotiate in both forms of cricket, eventhough of late he has been read much better by many but still remained the most feared opposition individually among the Indian eleven including our more famous batting greats. He was the most potent weapon India had even in the short form of the game for the element of unpredictability and aggression in his attack. It is good to see that he is calling it quits when u r still have few years lef in him even in ODIs. It would be really difficult to find another replacement to fill his void in the short form while every Indian fan would be happy that he is still available to the long form at least for another 2 years if not more. My very rich tributes for his glorious services to Indian cricket in the oneday version. He is living legend of Indian cricket and a real role model for millions of aspirants
Remember 1992,delhi Feroshah Kotla irani trophy final,it was the clash of the spinners,the loose talking Maninder singh who was the greatest"spinner?" of all times and Kumble.Kumble arrived on the scene with a bang.He was never considerd for 1992 world cup.we know how shivu got us the cup in 85. 2003 finals the second stupid decision. Lastone 2007.Kumble you had the talent and determination to not only play for India and beconme the greatest but also managed these parochial commentators and media.You must coach India oneday.

India's greatest spinner, but the greatest spinners of the world are not Indians but Warne, Murali, Saqlain etc.
Accept the truth India, accept the truth. The more you are away from truth the more you will do disservice to the nation. Bring the talented and the best available in every sphere of life. Think about India as a whole. Saurav should be made the captain for atleast two years. A talented younger crickter,intelligent and spirited should be groomed as vice captain now and to become captain in future. Sreesanth appears to be a good successor at least from body language it seems so. Dravid does not have it in him. Even if you hand over the entire Australian team to him and make him Captain, he will start losing matches after a few games while carrying on experiments and chasing after imaginary enemies in the team and creating confusion in the process. He is never never the Captain material. If he is still kept Captain, India will lose all the future tournaments.

ganguly is politician he used dalmiay a fellow bangali, when dalmiya had bcci power and backstabbed him when he lost bcci power dravid anchoed the ganguly's success as captaind but ganguly ditched him and betrayed the team ganguly is selfish, politicina he is promoting groupism in ind dressing room ganguly wasted more balls than runs he scored poor fielding and poor running wkt and unwilling to take singles cost more runs to team also created pressure on batsman on other side He did not bother to try and hold an easy catch during agarkar%u2019s bowling 60 runs in 130 balls how it can help a team cause?? Ganguly had one stage for having batted through nearly 11 overs to make a mere 7 runs. Yuvraj Scored 47 runs in 10 overs India Scored 191 in 50 overs Ganguly Scored 66 runs in 21 overs wasted more balls than runs he scored., Yuvraj Scored 47 runs in 10 overs Rest of team scored 50 in 19 overs Against burmada Ganguly scored 89 in 114 balls wasted 25 balls that is around 4.6 runs per over... compare it to the indian teams average of 8.26 Ganguly was struggling while batting against burmuda, and got 3 lifes ganguly in whole faced 266 balls nearly 50 overs and make only 162 runs, the how much pressure built on incoming bats man doesn't matter india wins or Lose Ganguly RETURN WAS HYPED BY MEDIA BUT HE WAS NOT IN TEAM UNIFROM ALSO AND HE DID NOT ARRIVE WITH TEAM?? The picute which tev channel shown after ind defeat in Sl . all players were in tears but no sight of ganguly dhoni and harbajan

Keya harj hai? Dear Chirimiri chinibas Ganguly keya India ke bahar hai? Bangali keya India ke bahar hai? Bana captain Dravid ko, Sab tournament harega. Majooda team mein Captain ka kabil ek hi Wow hai Ganguly. Dravid ka Captin hone ka brain nahi hai. Ek nervous ghut payda karnewala aadmi hai. IIsko bhagao desh bachao. Saurav lao baki saab thik ho jayega. Tendulkar ko captain banane se pahle usko niche kla khujli ka ilaaj karao. Baar baar jo baith jaata hai.

Ganguly at best can be made non-playing captain if he plays he will score 50 runs in 200 balls even against Bermuda
