wow. what a great words mr. atul. u r absolutly right. its time for us the indians to unite and kick these beggers out of thier houses and thrash them publicly. let them appologize for thier pathetic performace in public instead of coming through back doors that too in late night. shame on u GUys...........
it is time for you to retire. Do not be greedy at the cost of crores of my countrymen's emotion and feeling. You are no more required in the team when u cud not perform at the right place and time. Go on advertising in cola and pepsi. Invest your full time there.
Same for Sehwag and Dhoni also. Let wisdom prevail

sack whole WC squad....get U19 team to play all future matches...atleast they would put in efforts....

Who knows if this U19 team will not follow their predecessors after earning money and fame, and swooning over the lachak kamariya of Bollywood divas!
Don't worry nothing to be happend to this scraps, they will play again and will make centuries against b'desh and will won few matches (by fixing through bookies) and will never won match in foreign pitch , this is the whole story.
There have been reports in the media that Indian team members are habitual of enjoying a lot on the foreign tour. Someone has attributed this practice as one of the reasons behind their shameful defeats. In India too players like Yuvaraj, Dhoni etc. are going to Fashin Parades and Night clubs. Yuvaraj is facing a court case concerning fights in a party.
At the same time there has been a sharp fall in their winning stamina. Therefore, it would be wise enough that the entire team is subjected to thorough medical test so that if they have a serious disease it may not be communicated further.
in today article "Uthappa's car almost ran over some media crew and it was hardly surprising that the airport crowd was a mixture of midnight travelers and a few airport staff, besides the journalists.". whats this. who the hell is this Uthappa?. what the hell he is thinking abt himself?. we need to thrash these type of arrogant players in public for thier pathetic performace in field and off field.

Come on Rajesh, I am bugged by the Indian performance too but lets not take Uthappa to task because of what his driver did. It could be that the driver was spooked by the crowd - or it might have been a case of driver error.
Do We Really Need Cricket in India ?, Its all because of viewers like us, the Board, Players, Sponsors are getting richer and richer, whereas all other players showing talents in other games are neglected
The team is how the people are. Fickle and lacking in commitment to true progress. Everything in India works around hype and a few demi-gods. Changes happen only through a change in character towards true commitment to excellence in every field.

Hello everyone, i do understand its a big disappointment for all of us. Even i am just alike you guyz. These guyz are hopeless and if we are still going to wait for them to perform we are doomed. The way indian team played describes the attitude and commitment that indians can put in. We guyz wotever we do we do not do it to 100 percent, sometimes because of we ourselves or due to tacitly problems(external). So guyz if we are going to stay in this competitive world as one of the competitive nation, we have to change this attitude at the grass root level. Money drives the indians today. It should be the love and commitment gelled with patriotism that will make us big. So lets stop watching cricket and i hope all you had read this article.
Please read it. We have many more problems that we need to worry about, than this corrupt game today. It is more of less like the Wrestling mania today where almost all matches are fixed.
So when it is not a sport, why do we watch. Atleast refrain from watching these Asian & African teams playing the game.
Arguments are still open, but understand, we waste plenty of our energies on this cricket when we are just rewarded only with disappointments.

This is the most sensible message I have read in the rediff message board so far! You hit the nail on the head by saying "The team is how the people are". Fantastic statement.
I don't blame the Ind team for their showing in the WC because we in general don't have the same level of professionalism and committment that people in other countries have.
PLEASE TEAM INDIA SIT AT HOME AND DRINK PEPSI.TUM LOGO NE INDIA KI NAAK KAT DI. GHAR BHATA AUR ADVERTISEMENT KA INTIZAAR KARO. PLEASE TEAM INDIA SE RETIREMENT LA LO.WOHI AACHA HOGA AAPKA LIYE.

Hey, to advertise condoms, you need a decently sized THING. The Indian team have proved that their THING is really small. :-))
