CANT WE STOP SEEING CRICKET?
by Subho Banerjee on Mar 28, 2007 12:23 PM  Permalink

CANT WE STOP SEEING CRICKET? CANT WE STOP BUYING EXPENSIVE TICKETS FOR SEEING THEATRES AND REAL PLAY MOVIES ON THE GROND UNDER THE SCORCHING SUN? IT HARDLY COSTS US INR 150 TO 200 TO SEE A MOVIE IN INOX'ES, FAMES, 89'S, RATHER BYING EXPANSIVE TICKETS OF INR 550 TO 1000 AND MORE TO SEE THE PUPPETS OF BCCI DOING A MONKEY DANCES ON THE GROUND. THE POWER IN OUR HAND, LETS STOP WATCHING CRICKET ON TV LETS STOP BYUING EXPANSIVE TICKETS AND GOING TO GROUNDS AND WASTE OUR VALUABLE TIME, THEN WE WILL SEE HOW BCCI GETS THE SPONSORS AND WHO ENDORSES THE CRICKETER'S TOO. ITS OUR HIGH TIME TO WAKE UP AND STOP THIS BULLY JUMPING BCCI PUPPETS AND PLAYERS ON GREAT INDIA.

Sharad Pawar's statement- Khiladiya ke ad. karne par rok nahi lagegi, agar khiladi paise kamate hai to isme galat hi kya hai, sab ko apne future ki chinta hoti hai, agar cricketer karte hai to isme kya galat hai.
CAN ANYBODY GIVE THE ANSWER?

Arre lekin apne future ke liye, apna present kyon karab kar rahe ho. Mr. Pawar, we are not against endorsement but we are against the commericals that are done by these players. Endorsement is a lifeline for any sportsperson especially for those who come from a poor family.

But, boss! these are multi-millioniares now, stop advertising and play some competitive cricket.

By the way, Has anyone heard of any cricket doing some charity. And above all, if the chief of the BCCI is so worried about their future, why is the board not taking appropriate measures for it. Why do you call yourselves the richest board? What say, Mr. Pawar

Right Mr. Pawar. But now we want to see players on the ground - no models please. I have an idea why cant we go to big b, shahrukh, govinda, salmaan etc for playing cricket. I think they will better tahn our current team because they are sure for their future and will do something for our country.

Pls. note - if we select 15 people from 100crore then we want result, not advertisement.

What is the time Ganguly/Wright took for 2003 Final.
by Ashok Kumar on Mar 28, 2007 12:21 PM  Permalink

If 18 months is not enough for a miracle, then how come Ganguly/wright combination brought the team to 2003 final. In fact the team was in a very bad condition when Ganguly tookj the captaincy. It was he who brought in young blood to the team. Dravid should have planned accordingly so that he has a combination of youth and experience. And for your information uthappa/dhoni/munaf are youth. But who did a match winning performance. Its the captain's duty to motivate the players to perform. That what is lacking from Dravid when compared to Ganguly

Absence of patriotism and spirit....
by saravana karthik on Mar 28, 2007 12:19 PM  Permalink

No one has played upto his potential and just not tried their level best and finally admitted defeat by themselves..

i think the players doesnt feel the feel that every Indians are having in their deep of heart...

Yes,they are living in a sophisticated world and how can they realize the real expectations around them?

Mr. Kiran More kindly reply to this
by prince prince on Mar 28, 2007 12:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Ganguly was thrown out because his game was not good, then why the hell Sehwag was brought in when he was pathetic, all thanks to Dravid, and Kiran More says india loosing is not dravids fault.
Kiran More says 18 months is not enough for a coach, then how much time does chapell need? he is not getting paid for nothing, and Mr. More, Chapell is not coaching any school going kids here for 18 months to not be enough.
since Chapell joined as coach there has been a lot of dirty politics and bad performance.
Mr. More you and your suggestions don't mean much to us, anyways we find you to be useless as well.
why was'nt Irfan Pathan given a chance?
why was Kumble not included in the other 2 matches?
apart from kumble's bowling we could have benefited from his experiences.
Sreesanth was not included either. why?

I hate to say this............
Tendulkar should either retire or should seriously consider improving his game, alternatively he should be appointed as the assistant coach, India can surely benefit a lot from Sachin's experience.
