Bottom line is Kiran More did not do enough to create a world champion Indian Team.
The present regional cricket model has failed miserably. My suggestion is as follows:
1. BCCI can afford to have 25 teams of 25 players each. Not regional teams, but teams comprising of cricketers from across the country, selected on merit only. Players of all ages 14 to 30 shall form these 25 teams. There should be minimum standards set for endurance, flexibility, reflex, physical and mental strength and toughness, to qualify for these teams. Players who at any time fail to meet the minimum fitness levels should be sacked, right away. There should be Zero Tolerance in the matter of fitness. 2. Diet is of prime importance, as we Indians normally do not eat healthy food. This aspect should be looked after, seriously. 3. Develop cricket grounds of international standards, across the country. 4. Have separate teams for one day, 20-20 and five day format of the game. 5. Organize tournaments for these 25 teams and invite foreign teams that meet minimum standards, to take part in these tournaments. I am sure sponsors will not be a problem, for any of the above.
In brief, BCCI should identify and train the players of different age groups that will compete for a spot in the next 3 or 4 world cups. They should come out with some sort of vision or plan for the next 10-15 years.
Mr. Kiran....I've no words to pitty on you still how worse you can dump yourself after making so much dirty things in cricket!!! Please have some sense or aquire something after reading following things
We have lost the race world cup a year back, when Mr. Rahul dravid became captain, Chappel became coach and Kiran more at selector's side. Selctor's does'nt follow strategy to build the team and assigning the responsibilty according to the skills,capabilties and qualities. They unable to think because of their personal Grievance, greeds and egos mismanaged whole team with allocating responsibilties into incapables. Leadrship capabilty carry with the personality who leads from end with courage and positive attitude and as a team player, he binds the team flawless energy and never let the energy to diffuse. So that is what Sourav as a front end leader. And deputy is always back end...Dravid or Sachin, those who cannot lead from from front. If same strategy would have followed we would have been enjoying till another final of world cup. Just blame that Kiran more and Chappel and BCCI.
Better atleast for now for two years sourav should be captain, untill Yuvaraj learn all the strategies and quality of leadership as deputy and then as Captain. It will be strange when: 1. people or management (BCCI) think that sourav is getting aged and should not opt for Captain....Then what about Rahul and Sachin of same age group and nonperforming at any sector and thinking about temporary captain. 2. Going Backward: If Making sourav as a captain, then What sachin is now.... who was captain once and resigned and after long time He is deputy...where is the link..It is Backward step with u turn??????
It is better to give brake for both Rahul and Sachin.let them do prctise and come back like sourav

And again not to forget that souarv has brought India team back with Full strength after being panic in Match fixing and lossing badly at every matches during Azhar's captaincy allegations.
And India has won many trophy and series at foriegn locations during sourav's whereas Dravid only at Home country!!!!

out of 147 matches India won 76 (51.70%) lost 66 (44.90%) Tie or no results 5(3.40%) won 74 (50.34%)
But Saurav captained 34 ODI against minnows Bangla Desh Zimbabwe Namibia Kenya Netherlands Canada etc%u2026..
Dravid %u2013 16 months Team won 33 odis out of 65 ( including this WC matches) when Dravid was captian
India won 33 (50.77%) lost 28 (43.08%)no result/ tie 4 (6.15%)
But Dravid captained ot 65 matches captained only two ODI against minnows i.e. Bangladesh and Bermuda

Winning or defeat in matches depends on performance of XI players irrespective of captain, coach, pitch, stretagy and conditions. Bangladesh and SL victory against India is best example ganguly wasted more balls than runs he scored poor fielding and poor running wkt and unwilling to take singles cost more runs to team also created pressure on batsman on other side He did not bother to try and hold an easy catch during agarkar%u2019s bowling 60 runs in 130 balls how it can help a team cause?? Ganguly had one stage for having batted through nearly 11 overs to make a mere 7 runs.
