keep it up. If he had been India coach, We would have been in Super 8 straightaway. If he had not fixed the Bangla Match, Certainly he would heave fixed the lanka match for us to comfortably sail in to the super 8 round. He's such a great Patriot1

ganguly betrayed the team and ditched dravid
by Suman Bhat on Mar 29, 2007 10:30 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Ganguly deliberately played negative cricket, had a big role in defeat against Bangladesh and gifted mathc to Bangladesh. He betrayed team and ditched the captain. WC event was best stage
If team wins it would gone to sleague. Then there would not have been change in captaincy An early exit means dravid is not good captian and ganguly average won%u2019t spoil
NOW HE IS FRONT RUNNER IN CAPTAINCY RACE
simply back stage politics to humiliate dravid
ganguly wasted more balls than the runs he scored. The strikerate and average of bangadesh and other country opening players are better when compared to ganguly averagel
His poor fielding and poor running wkt and unwilling to take singles cost more runs to team also created pressure on batsman on other side
Yuvraj Scored 47 runs in 10 overs
Rest of team scored 50 in 19 overs
Against burmada he scored 89 in 114 balls wasted 25 balls that is around 4.6 runs per over... compare it to the indian teams average of 8.26
Ganguly was struggling while batting against burmuda, and got 3 lifes
Harbajan singh went wktless in 2 matches
dhoni failed with bat
Zahirkahn was wktless in firest match and in he took 2 wkts against SL but he gave more extra runs b'cuz of erratic bowling.
VC captain sachin failed completely with bat VC
Tendulkar scored a duck, Ganguly 7 in 23 balls and Yuvraj 6? Dhoni 0?( match against srilanka)
Batsman      Mts      Inns    &n bsp; NO      Runs      Hs       ;Avg      SR      100      50       0
V Sehwag      3      3      0 &n bsp;    164      114      54.66  &n bsp;   117.98      1      0     ;  0
SC Ganguly      3      3      0 & nbsp;    162      89      54.00  &n bsp;   60.90      0      2       0
Yuvraj Singh      3      3      0 &nb sp;    136      83      45.33  &nbs p;   117.24      0      1    & nbsp; 0
R Dravid      3      3      1 &n bsp;    81      60      40.50  &nbs p;   72.32      0      1    &n bsp; 0

Dravid was criticsed by chief selector and board members and ex cricketers but he was highest rungetter, and scored 100 and won mom. Other players din not score 100 against even Bermuda

dravid was only batsman struggling agianst SL the match was crucial and all other batamanss went to pavilion by gtting out silly shots
some players played deliberately negative cricket to defeat so ppl say dravid poor captian and ganguly great. ganguly is culprit he ditched the team and captian

At least he scored runs; what did other batsmen do? minus the runs Ganguly scored against BD and what's left? Ganguly got out early against SL and rest of batting line struggled. Don't blame Ganguly; the entire batting line up failed

billa, i can't understand this. he played politics to get back into the team and swalloed 130 balls for his 66 against bangla and got out at a crucial time of the match. he scored 89 off 127 balls against the weakest side bermuda and scored 7 0ff 23 against lanka. this guy batting at the top of the order ditched Team India. He needs to retire for the sake of Cricket. Dada is a big liability for the team as he's playing dirty politics. Also, like austraila, we should never include past captains, whosoever it may be.

Suman,
Please don't copy and paste the same message you posted every where. Please talk something relevant. The message to be posted here should be of some relevance to the article. It should be related with the most selfish cricketer (who never played for the team and was always a burden) Nayan Mongia's views on the current Indian team's performance in the World cup who also dreams to coach India. hahahahahahah..... That was a greta joke. I think probably the interviewer was trying to pull his leg. God save India.

Why Dravid Failed
by Circuit on Mar 29, 2007 10:28 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

what captain and coach will do when some players with the support of the board officials ditch conspiracy against current captian and coach? And there won%u2019t such big event like WC to humiliate captain and prove him a poor captian and ganguly as good captain and regain his captaincy If team wins there won't be change in captaincy? It is ganguly ditched dravid and deliberately played negative cricket and humiliated dravid
.
If some players did not support team or captain and played deliberately negative cricket and had big role in defeat and let down captain what coach & captain can do some players do not want to play for team??
Now see these players name is coming forward to make them as captian?? players are now marketing their names to regain captaincy through their agents.

win or defeat is depands on performance of XI players irrespetive of coach, captain, stretagy ptich and conditions. sl and bangladehs win against team india is best example for that
A team is as good as captain and if captain and coach has to go so all other like ganguly tendulkar, dhoni, zahirkhan harbajan, agarkar dhoni should also be out??
Ganguly %u2018s success was b%u2019cuz ofcontributions dravid, sachin laxman kumble srinath, sewag not b%u2019cuz of leadership qualities. He servived as non performing captain b%u2019cuz he had godfather called dalmiay . When dalmiay lost power he betrayed dalmiay also.
team went final in WC2003 bcuz sachin batted brilliently. he scored 33%of total runs and won MOS and best batsman. NOT B'CUZ OF GANGULY CAPTAINCY OR LEADERSHIP,
srinath bowled well and dravid ketp wkts to accomodate one more batsman
But this time it is ganguly betryaed team and ditched the captain by deliberatly playing negative cricket. He just want to humiliate dravid .also if team win then therewon't case of changing captiancy.
ganguly is root cuase of defeat,.
sujatah parkash did not mention of non cooperation of players to captain and failue o sachin dhoni herbajan and mainly ganguly .who played selfish cricket for safe
Ganguly is playing petty potics and ditched dravid.

Kumble should stop ODI long before
by Uttamkumar on Mar 29, 2007 10:22 AM  Permalink

Kumble should never think to play ODI from the day he got highest DOSE from Sayed Anwar whose
ODI score (194) is still the highest individual score in ODI.

Moreover his fielding is very very pathetic and most useless.
Batting, it better not to think of him.

If Dravid is a gentleman he should resign from Captaincy.
In Srilanka Jaysurya, Attapatu resigned from the captaincy after the team defeated.
In South Africa Shawn Pollock resigned after their team lost in last world cup.
Many other gentleman of other teams resigned from the captaincy taking the responsibility of the defeat but continue playing for the team.

Dravid should also resign gracefully before he is sacked.

RE:captaincy myth and truth
by Osho on Mar 29, 2007 10:26 AM  Permalink
I have seen you writing a lot of crap but never bothered to reply. Why do you want everyone to know that you are the biggest fan of Dravid..Come on get over it. Accept the fact, don't provide excuses of Sourav batting slow, sachin failed etc..
This was all because of Greg chappels drama that he created by sacking Sourav and people like More etc supported it. What was wrong with Sourav when he was dropped? Was he playing bad than Viru playing today? That incident sent negative vibes through out the team. Greg wanted to show who's the boss. He found a man who was ready to revold against Sourav and no better that Rahul was ready as he was the eligible captain after Sourav since Sachin had turned it down. Rahul knew this was the only chance of becoming captain as Sourav was becoming more and more powerful. To hell with all your statistics..Remember when Sourav took over as captain he was the one to mould the team and Rahul got ready cash.
The complete responsibility is of timid Rahul and Greg.
Loog at Rahuls body language he looks like a rabbit at times. And the biggest cheater Greg who has very little respect in his own country managed to keep India away from Australia which was looking like a unit to beat anyone in 2003.
So stop your cover up operation and accept the facts..

Man, understand Dravid is JUNKEST captain in the world,
he should take the responsibility of WC debacle and gracefully resign.

Media Hype & Indian Cricket Players
by Raj Aryan on Mar 29, 2007 09:57 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If the players are so concerned about media hype then they should stop doing advertisements. Then why should there be so many advertisements of cricketers just before the world cup? Hype was created by players themselves by doing some stupid gravity defying acts in the advertisements.

there is no point in crying over a split milk, ofcourse everyone knows our batsmen didn't deliver at the right time,we lost the momentum.okay let's think of something else and try to forgot the nightmare, this is the worst world cup defeat in my life i have ever seen, there is no point in blaming the coach and captain our batting line up let them in huge trouble, infact our bowling was not upto the mark,as our senior's said earlier fielding is also mediocre, keep all this in mind how come you peoples are excepting india to win the world cup.listen our players were not mentally perpared, then some of them are under tremendous pressure like sachin, dravid and sehwag too.there is no point in changing the coach or captain,i'm sure if we change the coach or captain these thing's will definitely happen once again so trust them and give one more chance, peoples always welcome that system "pay for play"i'm huge fan of tendulkar the way he played against srilankans made me disappointed,if u ask me the thing we made some mistake in the opening slot we should have sent sehwag and tendulkar.bcoz comparing to other combo this have worked out well in the last world cup another thing both are experienced biggies in bat once started they will never stop
