Clone of Tendulkar
by NextPrez on Mar 27, 2007 05:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Even the clone of Tendulkar would've made more runs than the real Tendya.

Tendya is the most overrated player in the history of cricket.

If it come out of clout of Gavaskar and Kapildev. zamana badal gaya. You don't need to have good footwork to be a successful player as told by gavaskar. You need to have good temparament and courageous attitude like devilliers and pietersen. I think sachin has paid too much attention to gavaskar's words.

bcoz..sachin used to be aggressive.. and after all that injuries and bad patches..i have seen him on tv taking coaching classes from gavaskar. Look at the way, he got out with S'lanka. And the whole world know how gavaskar played his One day cricket. Gavaskar used to play very slow...and that is understandable if you look at the standard of indian cricket played in those days. Now there is no such concept as ..one bat has to save wicket while other play aggresively. Look at the way, smith and devilliers played against australia. Bad days ahead for india, coz ganguly is not going to be sacked..and hez following gavaskars foot steps..

I think otherwise..pawar might have got his pants wet with tension and bar bar rahul ko phone karke tang kiya hoga then rahul might have told him..idhar bhi halat gambhir hai..sab susu susu kar rahe..LOL
jab ye log india vapis aayega..unke halat dekhne mein bahut majaa ayega. public aisa tu tu karne wala hai ki bas poocho mat

But why does the Indian team always end up on the losing side of the game in crunch situations

coz..players like robin singh who had a killer instinct and consistently performed in crunch situations was treated as second grade players whereas sachin who makes tons of runs in non-pressure situations is treated as demi god.

I agree , Sachin has not performed in crunch games since against Australia in Sharjah & that was more then a decade ago. That guy is a over rated player who has no stomach for crunch situations

70 odd in Asia cup final in 2004 chasing 220, 141 against pakistan in rawalpindi in 2004...124 against pakistan in 2005 which shud have drawn the series if it wasnt for ganguly's defensive tactics....
