its a golden opportunity wasted as chappell wasnt given full rights to do what he wants with team india. he had a great vision, process etc to develop younger players and to identify leadership material. But with oldies, humman baggage like sachin tendulkar in the team none of that is possible. and worst is now he wants to become the captain to save his a$$ in the team. if he has some bout of self-esteem left in him, he should retire the same way inzamam ul haq did. but knowing the selfish player that he is, he wouldnt do that. coz ITC would cancel its contract for sunfeast biscuits.

Indian are not willing to buy your comment now. Since India's WC is over now. it does not make any sense in making your point to the Mr. Rajan Bala. You must have known now that how difficult it is to be a coach of an Indian team. We have politicians who run the Board and selectors who are not played the game nor do they know the spelling of CRICKET. God Bless Indian Cricket. Above all, we have a captain who is pig headed and believes in players like Sehwag who has already passed his prime. And Sachin who is already talking of playing the 2011 WC. He is only looking at milking the board by stretching his career. It's time that he should concentrate on his hotel business. Harbajan should be sent to run his saloon business. I am sure more India loses, he will have more people to shave off the head. Good business sense.
Look at youngsters and allow them to grow. Make them play more international matches. Even if we lose playing them, its ok. Atleast, we know that we lost playing an inexperienced team.
Wake up Vengsarkar and show the door to people who have not performed and let you down. It's time for them to take Sanyas and relax at home.
Chapell should be right, if his requests are not abided, then the responsibility of losing should not also be put on him, what dravid or chappel can do, if you cannot score above 200 against bangladesh, what is the worth of having 40000 runs behind the team, throw out sachin and ganguly, drop sehwag and bring new set of batsmen who have the fire. To make things easier, make sachin as coach.
Wow!!!!!!. what a hitech coach?? First he e.mailed and created Ganguly episode and now SMS. Think next he will be sending MMS of the days events before and after the match with SL.
@Pradeep...Just realize that both Email & the SMS are NOT LEAKED BY CHAPELL. Email was leaked by someone within BCCI right?? And the SMS was leaked probably by the receipient i.e Rajan Bala a journalist.
The tradition continues,,Another poor performance & all are trying to save themselves by passing the batton to others... Greg is no exception...who stopped him from making these things clear at the beginning ???? If he was pressurised at all it was because of his poor performance as a coach.Wht was his contribution as a coach ???? We had a promising Allrounder in Pathan,today he has become a tourist(Courtsey Greg)..Suresh Raina was a constant Flop...Infact its the repeated failures of his favourite players forced the selectors to bring back the seniors...He had Sreesanth in the WC squad..who single handedly won a match in SA.Why was he not given a single chance ???? Who stopped him from giving an opportunity to Dinesh karthik if he had seen so much quality in him ??? He should speak out if he has grivances,,,rather than sending these SMS s .A winner never complains,,,he makes things happen...Look at Buchanan, he did not have Andrew Symonds for first two matches, Brett Lee for the whole tournament, but never complained.....thats the character of a real good coach....Cowards only blame others.

Robin Singh? You must be joking. The so called Seniors will kick him on the very first day. Robin is too nice a person to take on these uncouth SENIORS.
All these SENIORS should be dumped into the Arabian Sea or better still in Bermuda Triangle! I am sure they would love it.
