Wait for May 2007 pals...
by Ramasubramanian Venkatesan on Mar 26, 2007 03:40 PM  Permalink

To: All disgruntled souls stunned by India's elimination before Round of Super 8 in WC 2007

Subject: Your heated, animated, emotive discussions on what is wrong, what should be done to the players etc.

POINT TO PONDER:

Pals, 99.9999% of all of you will forget the worst ever performance put up by Indian cricket team during WC 2007 and you will be seen and heard discussing animatedly what went wrong, who should have been there, who should not have been there in the Indian team for their Bangladesh Tour of May 2007.

BCCI's big bosses will continue to live royally as if nothing had ever happened, 99% of the players will carry along as if nothing had ever happened.

May the cricketing fraternity revel and enjoy.

by underdog on Mar 26, 2007 03:39 PM  Permalink

Our BIG player are 30 plus (Need 30 plus to run)!!! :) They failed to win world cup when they were on 20s! So its your fault to expect them to do something when they are at 35! They need 30 !!

blame not the team...blame the board
by eshwar eshwar on Mar 26, 2007 03:36 PM  Permalink

Why all r blaming crocketers for this performance
Blame the politicized control board of cricket for their selection process and the facilities they r creating for domestic cricket in our country.
1. First dismiss the Board..and constitute an independent body which has the authority to sack or appoint anyone irrespective of the zone/area
2. Improve the infrastructure and standards for domestic cricket
3. Encourage young and aspiring players and restrict them from commercial endorsements
If all this happens, then who on earth can stop us from winning?

As I said earlier, we need to change our mindset

Hi friends,

Let us not waste our precious time in watching these adboys playing cricket..We need to find Patriotic people to play and not fellows like this who run behind advertisements and play cricket only to ensure to get more advertisements...

India needs reservation!
by underdog on Mar 26, 2007 03:33 PM  Permalink

Such a big population! Only one game! Still we are not in the list for best 5 teams! Also note that this game is being played by handful of countries! So ... only solution is, we need reservation! Its as simple as if we hit one run, treat it as 2 runs! When India bowl, an "over" means 3 balls!

Sorry .. dont feel bad! No other choice!

Team India no match to Aussies and SA
by subramanian sevgan on Mar 26, 2007 03:25 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

After watching the match between South africa and Australia i realised how foolish we have been, even dreaming about winning the world cup.
I hope it would be better if we appreciated the high quality game by other countries rather than attach any kind of Patriotic feelings with it.
