Indians are more seasoned politicians as compared to our neighbours, & do not believe in accountability. Always point fingure at others to escape your own responsibility. BUT WHEN YOU POINT A FINGURE AT SOMEBODY, THREE FINGURES ARE POINTING AT YOU.

To All indians,This is the biggest set and betted event of international cricket.Accept the fact guys as look at the way indians lost their wickets, saurov playing galli ka shot, sachin making zero, dhoni hitting the first ball he faces, yuvraj the best runner between wickets getting run out, sehwag falling in trap laid down by jaywardene and murli think guys think.why was srresanth, kartik not selected even after performing so well in past matches.why was pathan ignored over agarkar as he would have batted better, kumble the highest wickettaker was insulted by sitting in pavilion.so please dont waste your time and money on preplanned matches as this people have already got their dues from bookies and advertising revenue from companies and what we got frustation and humilation for supporting a irresponsible bunch of idiots.we won in 1983 becos players were commmited.kapilpaaji remember made 175 against zimbave when we were 5 down and single handedly won the game and india went on to win world cup.does any of the new players have that guts and commitment....

MOre is a royal looser.......
by Saswata Bose on Mar 25, 2007 05:14 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This guy More is a top grade moron. I mean he is one of the primary reasons for the failure to build a good team despite being a selector for three years. Its a collective failure of the trio of Chapell, More and Dravid. I mean how can he go on about Sourav??? This guy has been India's best batsman since December 2006 in both forms of the game.....Too bad he could not come up with a good knock against Sri Lanka......
It was More's daftness that they could not make a team even in two years. Had he been a little more devoted to buliding a good team rather than following a personal agenda, with Chapell, to keep Sourav out of the team, may be we could have ended up with a better team.....

On background of Ganguly's slow innings against Bangla desh. This saw Indian defeat against Bangladesh as remaining 6 batsman were left with 36 balls to score. This lead to collapse as they did not get time to settle.

On the day of Shri lanka match there was SMS from Journalist to Ganguly.

Dravid and Ganguly had some fight over that attitude with Ganguly.

Can some body throw light on that SMS.

Let the world know How This lobby of Ganguly and Bengal journalists put pressure on team just to help ganguly sabotage indian campaign.

Ithna sab Mahbhrath for captaincy to one player at expense of joys Indian and (very small part of Bengal) cricket lovers.

Kiran More: Inept, uncouth and shameless
by SUDIP MAZUMDER on Mar 25, 2007 04:28 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Kiran More was this question: Don't you think the senior batsmen in Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar let us down in this crunch match. No one took responsibility to bat through the innings?

In the answer he talked about Sourav's initiative, Shewag and Dravid!!! He has answered bravely to become a joker and shameless Indian selector once again.

We all respect Shachin... does not mean he is above criticism. It is you Kiran and the ilk who do mistakes by supporting individuals above the country!

Kiran, You are a traitor... shame on you. Better you join politics and make it more dirty profession... not the game.

Three 10K runs club members are responsible. Dravid wants sehwag in the team and sachin wants useless agarkar and harbhajan always plays ahead of kumble. The best way to punish the team india is ignore them. The media hype is going beyond the limit. New XI,new captain, new coach and no advertisement for 4 years. Train them, prepare them and watch them. 2011 world cup is ours.

Dont critisize the players
by SURAJ GUPTA on Mar 25, 2007 04:28 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Those who have really played cricket at some good level, will never critisize players, because they know how it feels when you are on the ground.Few things are not in your hand. Our players have done lot of hard work to acheive in their lives.Dont forget, It is not the ads which have give them success, it is their success which have given them ads.I am also disappointed with poor performance of team, but it happens in cricket.Be a true sports person, not just a crazy cricket fan.

More is also responsible
by Gautam Das on Mar 25, 2007 04:15 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

More was involved in India's preparation for WC07. He was the chairman when Dravid was selected as captain until world cup. He took a good decision by dropping Ganguli. But why he was not bold enough to drop other old and/or non-performing player like Sachin, Kumble, Shewag.

they must be in the team? and do what? waste a place ? we also know it happens in cricket. but this cannot happen that we are out in the first round itself..
look at ganguly..he was dropped ad worked and came back strong...i think its time to drop sehwag,sachin,agarkar...and tell them..same law applies to everyone..

I wonder if Rediff is publishing expert opinion from More beacause they do not have to pay him anything and yet Rediff is getting paid for his each interviews. That's the only way I can explain rediff taking interviews of this bloody fool who together with Chappel and Dravid once formed the evil triangle to ouster Ganguly from the team which is the root cause for India's world cup disaster.

Stop talking to More
by Aniruddha Dasgupta on Mar 25, 2007 03:48 AM  Permalink

We should now only concentrate on rebuilding our team. I doubt whether talking to players like More will help our cricket. When he was the selector he was involved in all kinds of politics. Everyone will agree that Sachin, Rahul and Sourav made us proud in many occasions for the last 10 years. They are great players . But for the sake of Indian Cricket we should look forward to young players from now on and maybe they will be the right persons to help us instead of holding their places in the team . BCCI now should look forward to take some initiative for rebuilding the team rather giving interviews and doing all kind of politics.

It is not about Country Any More
by Suparna Arora on Mar 25, 2007 03:40 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Not sure how and when million of crazy cricket fans of this country would realize that this is not about game and country any more. That all died with money and corporate power coming into it.

I had written the day this team was selected that this team would not go to next round giving reason and holding Mr. Pawar, Vengsarkar and Dravid for it and to much of my surprise my posting was taken out within 10 minutes by radiff.

It is high time you guy realize this and start taking this game as any other game that is played in the country and around the world.

you are correct Suparna. even i had told my friends 6 months back that team india won't enter second round. But what i feel players are not only culprit. board, selectors, media, Ad agency all are played a great role for such situation.
