To avoid this, we have to to engourage the young people. robin u thappa and gambir has to start the innnins,continues sewag,dhoni,yuvaraj,dinesh,irfan,......and bowlers. All Old/gold has to be removed except dravid.
we have to develpe yuvraj as next captain. if any failed for 3 matches, just remove him for next 3 match, then give a chance.Also acting in adv has to be limited.

Kiran More has no right to speak. He, first of all, did not show any cricketing brains when he played for India. He was a second rate average cricketer. How come he played such an important role as chief selector and how can he comment on Dilip Vengsarkar, who is a much superior cricketer and brain and has won us some games. The less we see of Kiran More the better it is for the game. So is true for Greg Chappel, a great player, but with no distinction as a coach. Ganguli should not have backed in the first place. Anyway the Bengal tiger has payed for it. I think it is high time that authorities find some long lasting solutions or people will not take cricket seriously anymore. By Utpal

dada has test average of 40. sachin has 55. dada has ODI avg of 41, sachin has 44. on all accounts sachin is thousand times greater than your useless bengali dada. sachin has 41 centuries your useless hero has 22 mostly against weak teams. sachin has 35 test centuries. your useless hero has not even 15.
as i said ladies should avoid commenting about anything cricket as they are too dumb and ignorant. you better stick to ribbon-hopping or kho-kho in your bakyard.

oh...!!! so Mr. Abhi think he has some knowledge of cricket...lemme show you some stats..after dada's return his lowest score was 48...and sachin's score in this season...well Mr. abhi go and find it..if u cudn't drop a mail..will let you knw...!!!

forget it ladies, i support you...!!! there are two type of people: rational and irrational....so is Mr. abhi...he don't knw anything abt cricket..and for his kind information...woman's cricket team of india has won world cup two times in a row....now can u beat that and say that ladies should stay out of cricket...????
as i already said...seeems sachin is Mr. Abhi's dad, that's why he is his public spoke'man...!!!
Before pointing fingers at others, kiran should look at his own statistics -- ODI batting avg of 13 runs !!!! He did not score even a single 50 in 94 ODIs played by him !!!

very well said binay...do u knw..he has hitted only 2 sixes in his whole carrer and was the reason for india's defeat in '92 world cup against australia...also he dropped gooch on 36 and let him made 333 @ lords in the same year...!!!
his test average is less than average batsman and the final fact...his highest score in odi is 42*....!!!

Consistent failures of players like Tendulkar and Shewag shows clearly that only performance should be used for selection and not past records. Every player goes through ups and downs in form. It is important that they go back to their respective local teams and come back in form. This was abanduntly shown by Ganguly. There is no point in out of form players playing international match as that will be at the cost of country's performance.
Further, Indian cricketers mostly play international matches as their advertisements contract requires them to do so. There are performance clause in these contracts, which are rarely implemented as they are stars. These advertisers can do lot of favour to the country by implementing these clause.
Another thing is that Indian players enjoy a lot of comfort zone. An ordinary Indian is quickly kicked out of his job for not/below par performance. Why should it be not implemented for the Indian Cricketers who make such huge sums through cricket.
