wtf does he know about cricket? Just because he was playing decades back and was chosen as a selector, doesn't mean his suggestions, ideas, knowledge of the game is any where near valuable. I wonder how many matches HE WON for India when he was playing. He has no credibility to offer his own comments how the other players played.
Not that I am supporting the players, but in a situation like this, a valuable opinion from a matured former player or analyst would be more appreciated than this pathetic loser former cricketer.
Don't worry...The world cup 2007 show was just experiment conducted by Greg for the world cup 2011 scenario. All experiments are finished successfully...now they can really go for world cup 2011. Let other teams go for their time pass in this world cup 2007.
Its a pity to sit and break one's head watching and discussing on such stupid and totally unpropfessional approach to the game by the Indian team in this prestigious World Cup.
Hope the team stops playing international cricket for a year atleast and concentrate on getting genuine talents, rather than depending a lot on the past vetrans who are now more into egoistic stunts and busy in money making assignments, affecting the nation image in the world.

So you expected India to win the cup? I didn't. Looking at the form of other countries, I hoped that our best performance would be Semi-final.
Yes they performed badly. The Indian public is also to blame. If Australia or South Africa lose, they can come back in the next one because they know their people will give them a chance. We don't give our cricketers any chance. If they fail in one tournament, we stone their houses and restaurants. That does not happen in other countries. Looking at the form of the players, it was stupid to even think of a great performance.
They are playing cricket, hard and without any remorse. They are not acting in a fairy tale movie.

u idiot Dravid is the only one who contribute sincerely regardless of who is the captain. he's the only one, alongwith Sehwag who stood like a man against SL. Don't try to bring down a player who never ran for limelight but always toiled hard for the team. His commitment to the team shud be an example to all & sundry. If u can't appreciate him, atleast don't talk nonsense about him.
The last 2003, stage managed worldcup made us believe our business men could get us the cup.Sorry sir.Now with the new ICC chief cricket is back to it being a game. The GAME is larger than thousand tendulakar or Gangulies.
guys its time we shud ask ourselves.. what we have done for the game.... its politics that runs everything and cricket is not an alien to it.. so guys we shud stand against corruption and show them the power of common man... just dont buy the stuffs sponsored by these worthless guys..... i know the companies will be going to get affected but i guess most of these are foreign based like pepsi cola..etc.... so i guess we can happily reject these drinks atleast... lets show our aggression and make these guys professionals...
... they put up SMS numbers if India wins, and more numbers if India loses, as if they give two hoots. All the anchors may have become millionaires overnight. A bunch of concerned people on air, and a billion coaches and selectors listening and giving their views.
