You donot have any right to comment about Saurav. You alongwith Greg spoiled the whole Indian Cricket for your own vested interest. You thrusted Rahul as a Indian Captain, and even spoiled his carrer and reputation, just to keep Saurav out of Indian team.
I am sure, if Saurav was Capatain of this Indian team, he would have inspired even this team to do better.
With so many news reports and expert opinions around,I think there is hardly anything left to discuss,speak and write about our defeatat in 2007.Lets put a full stop now and start looking for the new commitee for the so called BCCI and hunt new talent for the next World cup. Let us understand why politicains are sitting at BCCI helm and not senior retired experienced cicket players of India. Lets simulate the all types of cricket pitches so we are well trained well in advance. Lets learn how Australia and South Africa cultivate and select their players, what exercise they do, what type of diet they eat,what basic minimum physical requirements like height, Body Mass index ratio are required to represent the Indian team.It is high time to look for a Indian coach rather than foreign coach.Lets cultivate good pace bowlers, dare devil fielders and the aggressive batsmen who can hit fearlessly all around the ground with boundaries,sixers and through the gaps. That's what people of India want to see, we do not mind team losing sometime but loose gracefully and with fighting spirit.Lets stopp infighting and desriminating players like Gujju, Bengali,Marathi. we are all INDIANS.
There is no point in blaming Greg and Dravid.It is Sachin,Shewag and Ganguly should be blamed what is the class when they dont deliver,Shewag should have been ciked out of the team long back when Irfan was sent back why not sachin or sewag.It is all bloddy politics ultimately it is the captain and coach to take blame.Y es sachin was a great player now he is not the same when he could win match single handedly.His body has taken a toll it is better he retires when he is still glorified vijendra
I always emphasis the players selection.We only consider about the past record of the cricketers.But that will not give postive result in the current matches.We have quality of players and vast experienced with cross 10000 runs in ODI.Very Unfortunate!!!!!
We should follow the austrialian cicket board.They give Lot of pressure to their players.So they must do their consistency cricket.
Sachin,Sourav,Rahul,Kumble more or less 35 to 36 age.Probably they can play the 2 years.But we have the world cup on 2011 in the Indian Sub continent.So we should give the chance to youngesters.They may be follow the Nathan Astle.Exactly he did for his nation.Thats why now Foulton,Taylor,Vincent playing well.
All the selectors and BCCI officals (Money Greedy people & zone biased people)should resign taking MORAL RESPONSIBILITY (if they have the guts)& resign from their post..Hats of to PCB for that...

Dont critize sachin..he may not be the batsman he was ..but just look at statistics..he is still probably the nest India batsman in the last few runs in term of runs cored and statistics..he may not be a match winner anymore....but he can still bat better than most indian players.thanks

sachin is not good....he's extremely good....amongst the best.....he is GOD of cricket.....even the gods in ur mythology have made a lot of mistakes (all of them) & none is perfect....yet they r worshipped aren't they. why castigate sachin ! he is a human who has immense talent....such individuals r called genius........ failure is but a part of the game.....u show me a player who has never lost never failed & i'll join u in opposing sachin & dravid

pl yaar...when it matters pl see the record ..Tendulkar hasnt performed for India. Only the latest one heroics from Tendulkar is at Sharjah against Australia. But take the stats of Lara, Ponting, Grame smith, Flemming & many more who are all match winners for their country when the chips are down...

sorry yaar..taking the current stats....i felt flemming is also good compared to many of the Indian players. I see fighting spirit in them, which is really lacking with Indians. U give the world's top phycologist, even then Indians will not have the Mental Strength, which is one of the main ingredients in cricket.

Some people have weak memories! When Smith, Lara and other teams players perform, they have some support from their teammates. We want Gods not humans to play cricket. The reason why the Sharjah match is still in our memories is because he won matches single handedly. He won us many more matches, but the difference was that others contributed too. That is why we have won more matches in the past 5 years than the 20 years before that. Give him the role of playing like what he did before and he will still win matches. But only a few because if Sachin and Dravid fail, we have a procession back to the dressing room. Smith, Flemming, Lara, Ponting have the belief that if they lose one match they can win the next. If India loses one match, the players homes are stoned. That does not happen in Australia, West Indies or in South Africa. It happens only in India.

we overburden sachin & dravid in excess & then complain whenevr they fail. we owe our success to incredible consistency displayed by dravid over years & amazing spectacles delivered by sachin. these 2 r easily the kost committed cricketers in international arena today.......& look at us....how do we treat our heroes. Had we followed the same yardstick for expected performace in every field & the same response for failures then I'm sure more than 80% of India will have to prosecuted in public !
