Either most of the senior players such as Tendulkar, Ganguly,Dravid, Dhoni,Agarkar, Harbhajan Singh should resign Indian Team or BCCI should not select them for further matches. As they are not taking their responsibility at the right moment. They have no right to play the next matches. Iam wonder to hear that they still want to ramain in the team.

Blamming the coach
by P Ramanathan on Mar 25, 2007 07:46 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We fellows do not think beyond our clan, caste and region. Greg was preparing the team for world cup with youngsters leaving Ganguly.etc. But we influenced everybody that Gangualy and other old people must be in the Team through various ways even through parliment. He let it. It is the real story. It is shame on us to blame the person whom we assigned.

Caste Region ? you are wrong my friend. we fight more with each other. Past is the proof and we are proving it again here. Here in India, we get violent and expect our team there to give us a victory. All such people must be thrown into the Arabian sea. !!!

india will win
by Sriram Vangal on Mar 25, 2007 07:45 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Please note the following co-incidence:

Year 1981
1. Prince Charles got married
2. Liverpool crowned Champions of Europe
3. Australia lost the Ashes
4. Pope Died
5. A year later (1982) Italy won the Football worldcup
6. 2 years later India won the cricket world Cup!!!

Year 2005
1. Prince Charles got married
2. Liverpool crowned Champions of Europe
3. Australia lost the Ashes
4. Pope Died
5. A year later (2006) Italy won the Football worldcup
6. 2 years later will India win the world Cup?????

This mail was doing rounds as forwards during Football World Cup with a
question that will Italy win the world cup.

Apparently they did.....

Just a coincidence?? Lets see.... :-))

shame on all fans and media
by Rocky on Mar 25, 2007 07:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

its really shame on part of all of us. have you thought how bad our team might be feeling right now, if we are feeling so bad. its easy to give comments but hard to perform. its really pathetic that we criticize our team so much that they have to perform under so much pressure. to face the truth, we and media too are equally responsible for our team's defeat. we created unnecessary pressure on our team. Now what are you all gonna do about urself ? Commenting to do this and that to players is very easy. Well, anyway, i believe that our team had the capability but due to all the bad factors, we lost. But in this sad time, i am with my Team and would request them not to give up like Inzy. Its not in our culture. We always fight to win. !!! You have not lost. You will lose only if you accept your defeat. We will come back again and kick *** of all the criticizers.

dear friend

you're wrong. firstly your must know one thing winning or losing in everyone's life or sport is very much due, but the the manner in which we lose is the billion dollar question.

did you watch the final league match between Aussie & Proteas, despite asking rate of 7.5 right from word go, Proteas were never freighened they just went hammer & tounge at Aussies, despite they lost, but they did make very attempt to prove it that they are not lagging behind their opponents. but in our case, both against Bangladesh and Lankans did you ever see semblance of fight in our boys? that is the point? dont fool yourself.

They were struggling for sure, but they were trying. And my friend, i am afraid that the examples of Aussie & Proteas that you have mentioned here is not relevant. Indian players were like if i fail today, my people may attack my family or property or whatever. These teams had no such pressure. Be practical and see the fact of such immense pressure our team had.

Nobody will put pressure on his child who not got 50% marks instead of distinction. In this case Indian so called tigers have failed with distinction. By the way, these heros are doing this more than often, and you will be kick**** instead of criticizers. You are a person hoping against hope.

By pressure, i mean not the normal game pressure or pressure of living upto the expectations, but the pressure of the security of their families and themselves. And to all bull shit people like piyush above, do not get involved in any of our team's future victories. People like you are exactly the ones who need to be thrown out of our country.

Well people, the cup is over for us. thank god i am not in india at the moment . i would have been moving like a mad zombie if i were in india and seen india loose like this. it is shameful. i am in UK right now and the entire indian community is ashamed here.
the team did not go down fighting even once.
i just hope that the players of the team are taken back safely without any one being killed like what hapenned to poor old bob.
i am throughly dissapointed and happy tht i did not have the misery of watching the indian team loose like this. i kept rediff and cric info open and slowly died a peaceful death.
its hte end my friends and ho shameful it has been.
may good bless our cricket in the future....

Even the selectors are answerable: More
by Subhajit Bhadra on Mar 25, 2007 07:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I feel we should talk less in the air and be less political. We need a big change in attitude and outlook towards problem solving.

THIS IS FOR SELECTORS (PRESENT & FORMER:
- Forget about Zonal Selection. The BEST GETS IN.
- Forget about PLAYER GRADINGS (A/B/C). All Players in the team and aspiring to be in the team must maintain FITNESS, PERFORMANCE, SKILL and TECHNIQUE.
- Ensure the correct infrastructures and encourage the DESERVING YOUNGSTERS.
- We need to have players atleast good in 2 ELEMENTS - FIELDING & BATTING or FIELDING & BOWLING.

FOR PLAYERS:
- There is lots of money in this game of Cricket unlike Hockey. So, you consider yourself lucky as compared to Players form Yesteryears. PLAY LIKE A PRO.
- Develop good mental strenght, maintain good fitness, Good skill (Batting or Bowling). Fielding is a MUST.
- Behave like professionals. After all you guys surely love playing this game for love of THIS GAME and MONEY too. Unless there are good players who wants to play on a honorary basis. That can be a good gesture to our country!!! We would surely remember that personality.

Mr. More don't you feel ashamad to make such comments. It is you and Chappel who created this misery for the team. Any body in your place would have committed suicide instead of making such comments shamelessly.
