The selector have to think about the younger player for the next few years. Tendulkar , Ganguly & Shewag should be out of team because their foot movement is not good now days. Their eye site and fotwork are very poor because their age have already expired to play cricket. The selector must think about younger palyer to make them responsible for the team not for individual record.
First of all the BCCI should be professional. Why are the politicians there in the first place? It is absolutely for the money. I think we have good people who have played cricket in the past. They should manage the BCCI. Also there should be a CEO who is accountable. The BCCI is more interested in making money through deals and managing CRICKET. Why only blame the players and coach.
It is a shame that no Indian umpire is on the elite panel after Venkataraghavan retired? What has the BCCI done about it?
Let us have a frank and honest introspection and take the right steps. Let us face it. If the BCCI makes money it is not important. It is important only if we invest in making better cricketers and for that we need a professional BCCI. Also a three member panel of eminent panel is good for the selection committee instead of the 5 member zonal way at present. Well, we will think about all this and forget it. Time to act. Otherwise, cricket in India will go the same way as hockey.
Hey Guys...The good thing out of this world cup loss is that Cricket will take a back seat and the other games will get the encouragement they rightly deserve.People in West Indies are taking other games like athletics and basket ball.Let Indians do the same and improve our Olympics medal tally.
Four persons are reponsible for the sorrow state of affairs in Indian Cricket namely Mr Sarad Pawar, Mr Kiron More, Rahul Dravid and Greg Chappel.Mr Pawar is only interested in money and power.iSo instead of looking at the interest of Cricet he spent his time to eliminate Dalmiya who thogh a person of unscrulous character understood cricket and looked after the interest of the country.Mr More disbaned the "Team India" created by Saurav after toiling hard for five years.Regarding Dravid less said the better. He is the best batsman that India has ever produced but perhaps the worst captain who has led the Indian team.He doesnot deserve to remain captain any longer.Greg Cappel's only achevement in 22 months was to disband the "Team India" which had gone upto final of the last WC and increase his bank balance. He sould be immediately booted out and should be asked to proceed to Australia from West Indies to avoid public ire.I salute the PAK captain , selectors and the Board Chairman for taking the blame and resign from their post.WE Indians leave only when we are booted out.Mr Pawar should be made Minister without Portfolio as he has also failed totally as F & A Minister.

I appreciate your views. This is a very sane opinion. Rahul Dravid is my mentor as a player but a great failture as a Captain. He takes medias remarks personally. The qualification for Indian captain is not the performance but the media and pressure handling.
What a irresponsible person is Mr.More. He must admit that the his moves earlier are responsible for today's debacle. It's easy to comment from outside but does he realize that his old days when he also batted so irresponsibly lofting the balls when the chips were down. He has no right to comment on the cricketers this way. In 4 years he couldn't find the right strategy to bring in a system in cricket, what does he think of himself.

Very well said.Indeed his moves are responsible for all this&now he is shamelessly putting all the blames on the team.
It was a combination that carried on unnecessary experiments. 1. Changing the Captain was not necessary. 2. Instead of Saurav's come back innings being appreciated he was dropped from captaincy and team. 3. Unnecessarily players were dropped and non performers like VRB Singh , R P SIngh and Raina were given chance game after game. 4. Pathan was destroyed. 5. Dhoni's batting orders were changed. 6. Commando trainings and Kabaddi and foot ball games were unnecessarily played. 7. Zaheer and Harbhajan were not relied upon and dropped and reinducted. 8. Laxman and Kaif were unceremoniously removed. 9. A sense of uncertainty was created among the members. 10. Team spirit were deatroyed. 11. Dravid was never magnanimous and never gave courage and inspiration to players to fight as a team. 12. The same team under Ganguly without Chappel interference would have been a much much better team. 13. You can never expect performance from shaky players suffering from uncertainty. 14. What happened was written on the wall the day Rahul took over the mantle. 15. A good instrument Team India was gradually made a junk by More-Chappel and Dravid trio. There should not be any misconception about it.
I must say what Sourav did good over the five years of his tenure as a captain, everything was undone by Kiran More. Now today he is again blaming Sourav for India's defeat and saying that Sourav should have taken initiative. Sourav does not need advise from u hypocrit and stupid Kiran. Kiran More is partial. When Correspondent Harish Kotian asked Kiran More, about Tendulkar's failure, he is noncomittal. All blame is for Ganguly for Uthappa's failure, all excuses for Uthappa becoz he is junior, as if he is not part of the team. Ganguly has still managed to score 165 runs in three innings with an average of 55, highest by Indian player in this world cup. Uthappa managing only 30 runs in three innnings (average of 10). Uthappa was after all Kiran's selection. Dilip Vengsarcar knows his job very well, as he rightly said it is not the age or junior or senior, it is the performance and current form which counts. The biggest mistake the previous committee did was by making Dravid captain by replacing Ganguly. Dravid is a big failure as a captain. The proof is that under Sourav we reached finals of the last world cup. Chappel, Dravid, and Kiran More were one gang (who had vested interest and wanted their own men in the side), which Ganguly would not have allowed, so they sacked Ganguly. But Ganguly came back by his own Will. Kiran More was a very ordinary player and wicket keeper, he is not competent enough to comment on what a class player like Ganguly should have done. Which short Sehwag should have played. Sehwag knows better than Kiran More and Sehwag too does not need More's opinion. Kiran More has played two world cups for India, what was India's performance in those two World Cups. Kiran More should see first his own carrier statistics and then see Ganguly and Sehwag's carrier statistics, he is not where near to them. World knows how Kiran More played his cricket in his time, (after all Kiran More was banned for one year for making Rebel Tour in America in 1989) after a humiliating loss to West Indies. He dropped simple catch of Graham Gooch at 36 runs in a Test Match against England in 1990 and Graham Gooch went on to score Triple Century 333 runs). Kiran More created divisions in Indian Team, and that is why team paid the price in the world cup. Shut up bloody Kiran.
