India?s Position for todays Match
by K. Saha on Mar 23, 2007 04:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hi Friends,
If this message can go to the ears of our Indian Team I have the following points to make.
1) Shall Shewag be the part of todays Team.
If yes why and if no who should replace him...
I personally feel that he souldnt be part of todays team rather than him we should take some other guy into account...bcos with Shewag we have been experimenting for long time and he has been out of form and if we need to experiment again pls lets do it with a other guy...let us give a meesage to these guy that position in the team is not just a matter of what u have done in past rather its to prove that every time....
2) What should be the Indian Strategy today be on the feild as its a do or die scenario for India.
I think we should bat 1st bcos that has been our strength n we should be a part of that..
Hoping to get some comments
Cheers
KS

Its a shame for Pakistan as a country and Pakistanis as its citizens. It shows once again that this nation is miles away for being even called

Its a shame for Pakistan as a country and Pakistanis as its citizens. It shows once again that this nation is miles away for being even called "Land of civilized humen". This country has no character and hence its inhabitants seldom practise acts with little wisdom. Its time for them to go back to 1948 and rebuild first - Nation's Character. RAJIV SARKAR

Are you sure? You should be pretending to be ignorant or totally ignorant indeed. Everyday we come across a news that some upper-caste men raped a dalit woman (or women) and paraded her (or them) naked, in some XYZ village.

He called a guy on the other table and told him that India is planning put some gas in pak that will make all of the pak,s change to insect and they would do the same to a cobbler...the guy asked why this cobbler....to this Indian PM said to President of US Look I told u no 1 cares about Pak...
Guys this was just a joke no hard feelings but the fact remains that episode shouldnt have happened

this is the result of match fixing scandal which has been going on for years...poor woolmer has to pay the price...pakistan team is also a part in the scandal which has taken away a qualified coach, a perfect husband and a loving father just for few quids. it seems paki team crying on tv was just crocodile tears...they knew everything....ban them for life..this is not for being an indian but for justice for woolmers family. may his soul rest in peace.

But the problem is the suspect who has been caught
has links with all India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka cricket. So, we might all end up starting a new Sub continent alliance. The asia cup will become our World cup.

DNA test.
by happy sks on Mar 23, 2007 03:54 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Pakistan's cricketers and team officials will be swabbed for DNA on Friday by police as a routine exercise a day after police announced their coach Bob Woolmer was strangled.

The Pakistan World Cup squad and management were finger-printed on Thursday at the Kingston Pegasus hotel, where Woolmer was murdered on Sunday.

Most would just love to stay back in West Indies and enjoy the beach and its sights. The reception they would get in Pakistan must be really scaring them. In both India and Pakistan , national pride is deeply associated with wins and losses in cricket I would hope this would stop as a result of what has happened in the last few days. The game is nothing more than a commercial venture in which the corporate houses , government and the "bhais" have a stake.

absolutly. itis indeed very bad, some one lost his life.
we must accept the fact today's cricket is all about soaps on television and hardly a game. so what is wrong if the matches are being fixed earlier, just like any other episode of a T. V. Serial.
just like producer of TV Serial is not interested in quality of his production but how much he can earn by saling the commercial place, crickat is same as this. it has become a marketting event now.
those who take cricket seriously waste time on seriously discussing on it are big fools. they make billions out of it we only watch and discuss how they are minting money.
there is one more myth that these cricketers are playing for their respective nations. i am sorry but none of the playing teams have been sponcered by their respective govrnment. its not TEAM INDIA but its a team comprising of Indians, so it may be dearer to me than any other teams playing. calling team of indians as team india is again a marketting tool, to make more indians fool.
so please stop discussing cricket, they are doing their job and creating wealth for themselves, so far your money is not involved let them fix the match. if most of the people take this view automatically betting and other things will stop. remember wrestling compition in Mumbai which brought darasingh fame.
