Indian players are paper tigers and have the great pleasure in earning money through some ads rather than playing for country. I am 150 % sure they return from world cup either in today's match or from super-8. Better don't keep any more hopes on world cup.

I think there r lot of other important issues needs attention rather than this. Give your valuable ideas in Nithari Case, Nindigram's villagers case etc. so that the poor and innocent peoples get their proper rights and guilty persons gets punishment like Jessica Lal case and Priyadarshini Matto, which can only happen by our involvement and awareness. So please stop thinking abt this World Cup matches, which r all fixed and ponder on real issues. My personal request to media persons to highlight those. "Jago HINDUSTAN jago"

Fixing
by Ankur Khanna on Mar 23, 2007 02:41 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

if matches are indeed fixed then Bob Woolmer's death have wrecked India's plans
they lost to BD and would have planned to win against Sri LAnka

but it seems after all this focus on match fixing coming again, they will have to loose to Sri Lanka to prove that there was no pre-planned fixing and the team played sincerely

cos if they come out winning, there will be more attention on them

yaa exactly...... Indians will be in a tricky situation......if they win ...everyones gonna say the match was fixed, as india exiting the world cup so early wont be financially viable....... if they loose???? Then all the sponsors will loose hell lot of their money...as no one from india would like to watch world cup withou india..........So shall i tell u onething?? India will win this match but convincingly,in the sense....india will win a thriller ....like by 1 run or 1 wicket....

Pramod...Yours is the first decent blog I ever came across on rediff's discussion board (you bet, I am following from the start!)...almost all the other comments are trash...you seem to be the first sane person on the board whose comments make sense...I fully agree with your views...and I sincerely hope other bloggers also make a note of your comments...
keep writing...
