BOOST UP THE MORALE!!!!!!
by khalid R Dagli on Mar 24, 2007 06:37 PM  Permalink

Bangladesh is now very confident after stunning victory over India (world champions). Can we not ask other teams like Ireland, Canada, Holland, Kenya to play against INDIA so that they can win and BOOST UP THEIR MORALE? After all new comers must be given chance to win. Isn't it? HA!! HA!! SHAMLESS TEAM. BCCI should ban ADVERTISEMENTS. HU HA INDIA, GOO KHA INDIA!!

Let's start producing BRAVES once again!
by mukund Kumar on Mar 24, 2007 06:36 PM  Permalink

I was going through the article in India Today, the edition published just after the parliament bomb attack, and seen a sentence said by the terrorists while leaving the people from the hijacked plane that "Go and tell Indian mothers to produce BRAVES". I felt a bit bad and satisfied myself saying that there may be some diplomatic/political limitations to give a hard answer to the hijackers.
But after loosing the match yesterday at Trinidad, I'm forced to think upon the statements gave above by the terrorists. Let's think is it real that we have stopped producing BRAVES? We are the second biggest population of the world and can't we get 11 people out of it to face the players from other less populated countries? I don't think that Australians or Sri Lankans are super cricketer by birth. They are also doing the same strategy of selection, training and other as we do. Then Why BCCI strategies are becoming failure all the times and every time while they don't have limitation of funds.
Or else finally, we should stop participating in any sports and utilize the same fund somewhere else. In which field of sports we are doing outstanding? Hockey is our national game, we damn failure there. Football, no one is remembering us while they discuss about football. In Olympics we are going and getting a bronze and becoming proud.
India we are not to be underestimated like this. Either Indian sportsman should give
us the proud as India should have or they should just shut-up.

Mr.Gavaskar, Will You Shut Up Plea......se
by Vikatakavi on Mar 24, 2007 06:35 PM  Permalink

Firstly, as ponting rightly said, you never shown interest to be involved with the cricket in india. Rather you chose to be a critic as a useless commentator throwing stones at others and lobbying for mumbai and for your son to keep him in Ranji circuit.(You can plead any association for that matter from Kashmir to Kerala as long as they keep him in their Ranji Team). And you don't also say a word about Dada or Dalmiya, coz that might ruin your LADLA's prospects since he is now representing Bengal in Ranji, despite his poor performance.

Atleast this time i was expecting you to say something critical about Sachin(I had been a life long fan of sachin), who dumped us. Rather, you decided to shamelessly put the blame on Greg. What can a coach do when all the frontline batsman don't even pay their normal game. Infact, bringing in Greg in my opinion actually helped team india a better fielding team than before if not anything else. And only a foreign coach can mend and bend these lazy guys. We already tried with Kapils/Gaekwads etc., and achieved nothing. So please don't make team india again a team who also can't field.

Look at IHF, who headed by KPS Gill (with all the hype as supercop, discipline and so on), promised so many things and none of them could be realized even with younger players. None of the indian coaches neither have the physical fitness nor the tactics to make them compete with European teams.

I don't mind if you don't want to help the indian team, but atleast stay away from them, and don't make any stupid remarks. Also tell your buddy Ravi Shastry that all of this applicable to him too.

Oh so u r still not history. This is the problem with the majority of white skinned guys like you. All you do in ur life is take a birth out a wedlock or whatever God knows and then spend ur lives analysing ur skin color and making comments which no one values as most of u r considered to be non-entities.

Paul I am again repeating what I said earlier. Restrict ur comments to cricket. ur skin color is not something of an achievement. If u meet up with a right guy it will not take much time for this white color to first turn blue and eventually black. And remember one thing if u had the kind of population that we have over here ur people would be shitting on each others heads. And u people would never dare to comment a black. Try doing it and u will be history.

Ashamed and embarrassed
by Sandeep Makhijani on Mar 24, 2007 06:21 PM  Permalink

You know guys, we should be happy they lost...coz the way Aus and SA are playing we wld got a trashing of life time in the semis or something and that wld have even more humiliating.

As far as the team is concerned, I think all of them need to be sacked. We lost the match in the first over when our man Zaher Khan gave 10 runs that included 8 extras. He chokes in every big game and he happens to be our strike bowler.

And Sachin.....hmmmmmm zero is the biggest match of his career and probably his last world cup. I have started believing that his contribution has been only to his records and never in making India win in key matches.

I am more embarrassed than disappointed today and believe that we will never win the world cup ever again. I will be surprised if we are in the top 5 teams ever in any form of cricket.

Indian cricket - RIP! I have to figure out baseball.

Guys...look!! These BILLIONAIRE PLAYERS ARE LAUGHING at us..!
by Vimalesh Banarasi on Mar 24, 2007 06:18 PM  Permalink

Guys,
I'm really-really happy that India lost the game..It was really-really necessary for Indian youth to know the reality of Indian players..they thought they were superman but now they know that they are human being...
Dont throw stones and dont burn their effigies...this result were inevitable after the performance against BD...
I remember when few years before contract issue came up this BCCI said that their PLAYERS PLAY FOR BCCI NOT FOR INDIA AND BCCI IS ANOTHER ENTITY...after that there was so much hullabaloo on that comment..now it is cristal clear that these players really play for BCCI on CONTRACT(THEKA)..they dont know what is country..!!
I think it is high time the youth of the
Country, seniour citizens and kids wake up and use their time in any productive work and not on this silly cricket...
I'm very disappointed and moved by this performance and thin I have bean cheated and FEELING LIKE AN OWL ON WHICH THESE BILLIONAIRE PLAYERS ARE LAUGHING%u2026!! I have been following Indian team matches since 1989..I have seen the defeat of 1996 semifinal...I was a diehard fan of Indian cricket but now I think I was not watching these games since 1989 but actually I was wasting my precious time...My parents stopped watching cricket after 1987 world cup semifinal when India lost against England and his Son has stopped watching cricket after 2007 first round exit because he is feeling cheated and humiliated..!
