Sachin And Cricket
by Sankaran Balasubramonian on Mar 24, 2007 04:37 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Ahaa. Finally the moment of truth...It is very clear from the fact that, Sachin , Worlds Best Batsman is now a history than present..It seems to me that, he is too old now to play cricket..it is high time, he start coaching people on how to bat and may be concentrate on his business rather than playing for India.

I have a request to you Sachin:
I heard that you said in one interview, I may even play 2011 world cup. PLEASE DONOT BE IN THE TEAM AFTER THIS WORLD CUP. You have to retire, It is high time.
I want Sachin,Ganguly,Dravid to move out and bring in new players, train them.
Sehwag, you play on luck. Try Kabbadi..u will best fit there...

BCCI, start funding other sports otherwise in another 3 years, people will realize everything and u will end bankrupt..

Thanks
A Sachin Fan.

NB : It really hurts to comment on a player who has the place of Legend in my heart...but truth needs to come out..Sorry...SACHIN...

Thanks
Balaji

Indian team never had it in it we were just seeing illusions.
by subrat panda on Mar 24, 2007 04:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

People say we are a cricket crazy nation. In fact we are not cricket crazy we are hero crazy nation. We are hard working people who toil to make both ends meet,to escapr from this hard realities we some time look for heros who have made it big for inspiration. That we find in our film stars and cricketeers, who inspire us to continue working as success may be round the corner.Of all sports played in India cricket achieved a cult status after the sucess in world cup '83.the players ger endorsements etc.only because we make them popular. But if they continue to perform like this then with in few days it will cease to be the national passion. So better all involved in cricket think about it.

couldnt agree more.cricket has got a mass following in india. Every bloody damn cricketer who represents india ought to be obliged to meet the expectations of millions of over zealous fan. They should realise that their dismal performance wreaks havoc on the emotions of the frenzied supporters of their team.

the team had support of millions of indians in this word cup. I spent three sleepless nights to cheer them and went to office next morning. This is a hopless team which they have proved time and again. They are simpley useless as criketers and vey good as money making models. forget cheering and supporting them

Ek poem meri team ke naam
by Mohammed Hussain on Mar 24, 2007 04:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Last Friday:
Inzamam said, Ok Dravid, see u later
Dravid said, Wait till Friday, we will go together.
This Friday:
Inzamam said, Wah Dravid, you r a man of word
Dravid proudly: After all, its rice and curd
We got the fame followed by shame,
Inzamam depressed: But we spoilt our name(Woolmer)

Ye both teams, ek doosre ki country mein hi chamakney ke qaabil hain......kaagaz ke sheir kahiin ke........mujhe to lagta hai India Pak series bhi hamesha fixed hi rehti hai.......Ya Allah ya to meri umr badha dijiye, ya phir in donon teams ku utha lijiye.......HAHAHHAHAHA

On behalf of the millions of the parents of the school going children we thank you very much for sparing us. Your performance has really inspired them to do better in their studies !!

Now we are confident that they will get better marks becuase of your "spelendid performance". The TV people have shown about your departure in detail. Now please do not inform anyone when the team arrives and leave from the back door !!

Thank you oncegain for helping our children perform better in their exam papers !!

Indian Cricket
by Sreejesh Nair on Mar 24, 2007 04:31 PM  Permalink

I often wondered when I heard ppl talking about the abundan talen of Indian cricket.
I dont know why we rate Sachin Tendulkar like god of cricket. He very very rarely won India important matches except one in sharjah and one against Zimbawe (where he scored 104) in south africa to reach the final. Other than that, we never saw him playing for the team.
We have to agree with the fact any given day India will lose match against Australia, New Zeland,South Africa or Sri Lanka. We might have the talent not the skill to win matches or play according to the situation for that we need brains.

NOW WAIT FOR ANOTHER FOUR YEARS, I WILL SUGGEST TO BOYCOT INDIAN CRICKET. I AM GOING TO DO THAT, I WILL STOP READING ARTICLES ABOUT INDIAN CRIKCET. I WILL NOT WATCH ANY OF INDIAN MATCHES.
