RE:INDIA IS SIMPLY BEST

We all know that BCCI cannot do this. Then who cn do this??? "WE PEOPLE CAN DO IT", How?????
We should all make the following decision (If India fails to qualify for super eight):
a) We will not buy products endorsed by the cricketrs. Openly protest and stop buying the products. Sponsors will be reluctant to loose the market share by going against people's view.
b) We should not go to stadium for watching a one day match or test match. If the gate collection is bad then BCCI will have a direct hit on this account indirect hit in the form of instadia ads and other stuff.
c) As a final stage we should stop buying all products for which ads are shown between the overs during the Match

hi I am not surprised by your decision. When soneone plays well there are a few to prise them, but when they lose there are many to curse them. Don't let us be stone hearted people. SUPPORT is needed when one fails and not when he wins. Let's hope India will make it for the Super-8 and wish them ''ALL THE BEST''
i think India beat srilanka.India is a better Batting option and they performe well in the pressure situation against Bermuda. But the bowling of srilanka is good .Chaminda Vaas and Murli is a good experience bowler. But india has a plan to paly these bowler.in the 1999 world cup Australia will lose their first two games against New zealand and Pak.But they bounce Back and win the cup .So hope India will doing this time .India is win against lanka they will take point against Lanka to reach super Eight.this is a good sign to India in this cup.Lets wait and watch.

pak team is totally corrupt and all the time involved in controversy. ban them and go on with cricket.
i think it is better for our children and students india loosing this match to concentrate on their exams and also will be a lesson to the advertising companies no to go after indian team and avoid investment on them in future.

How country will get benefited by winning in Cricket? What you want to prove, win in cricket symbolizes Patriotism?

If you are not interested in Cricket, then why you read this page and posted your comments? Cricket is really a symbol of Patriotism. It also unites whole India. when India wins, it unites the Indian's all over the world. Sardharji's share sweet with Marati's, Bengalies hugs Biharis etc. We are not consuidering that the captian is Kannada, Vice captain is Marati, Spinner is Sardharji; we are always thinking them as TEAM INDIA.

LET ME TELL ONE THING 1999 WORLD CUP INDIA FIRST MATCH WITH S.A. & 2 ND MATCH WITH ZIMBABWE BOTH INDIA LOST
2003 WORLD CUP INDIA FIRST MATCH WITH HOLLAND AND INDIA WON 2ND MATCH WITH AUSTRALIA INDIA LOST
1999 & 2003 INDIA COULD NOT WIN WORLD CUP WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?
NUMEROLOGY COMES IN TO PICTURE
DWITIYA ( 2ND )VIGNAM SHOULD NOT HAPPEN IN ANY CASE PRATHAMA ( 1ST ) VIGNAM CAN HAPPEN BUT NOT DWITIYA ACCORDING TO SANSKRIT
NOW TAKE WARM UP MATCHES INDIA WON AGAINST HOLLAND AND SECOND INDIA WON AGAINST WEST INDIES.
MEANS DEFEAT AGAINST BANGLADESH IS A REWARD AND LUCK FOR INDIA.( HERE PRATHAMA VIGNAM) 2ND MATCH INDIA WON AGAINST BERMUDA BY 257 RUNS ( HERE DWITIYA SUCCESS )
ALSO INDIA WIN AGAINST BERMUDA BY 257 RUNS ADD 2 5 7 = 14 = 1 4=5 ( MEANS PANCHAMA )

once again murthy from bangalore always remember failure is foot step to forward that is what happened in case of india
in the case of bangladesh dwitiya vignam ( 2nd match defeat ) already happened. they lost to srilanka
dwitiya vignam is always dangerous. it shouldnot happen in any case. now bangladesh is under immense pressure not india. one failure ( 1st game not second) taught them a very good lesson
also while playing with bangladesh india selected batting " during rahukalam" doing good things in rahukal will always give a bad result
means today india shouldnot bat first because at west indies morning 10.30 to 12 rahukal will be running
let's pray god let srilanka bat first & let rain not come
also about veerendra sehwag he will shine
because 1st match he scored nil 2nd match century means 1st vignam can happen dwitiya must be success
so today sehwag will be the key player.
thereis no point in humiliating sehwag for poor performence against b'desh
also according to permutations & combinations iam expecting australia & india will meet each other in semi finals
remember australia has to lose semi finals.
because before entering w.c. australia lost to england and newzeland ( both prathama & dwitiya vignam ) australia cannot win the world cup.
whereas in the case of india india defeated s.l.& w.i. both ( both prathama& dwitiya success )

abe chup be sale chamche, they should show aggression and lead the game by batting first and making enough runs to fight.
Ganguly should not open, we should save him to tackle Murli and other slow bowlers later.
If you have obserevd Ind-lanka matches, Ganguly is one person who has handled Murli really wel, i think he is the most comfortable of all indian bastmen against him. And also, you dont want to expose him against one of the best fast bowlers in the world, thats not ganguly's strengths anyways. If ganguly opens Vaas will most likely knock him early.
Agarkar should seriously take a break.
Pathan opening ? He certainly has the batting technique to handle(read defend) quality fast bowling. He has opened for india in the past and has not dissapounted. Further it would be a sort of surpise element to the opposition, who right now must be making plans to knock Dada,Sehwag etc early on .
If Uthappa fails early, Sehwag should step in, else Dravid. If we dont lose early wickets and caryon with good pace, then he should get back to number 6-7 and come later.
Why Uthhapa still in team despite failures off late? Well Uthappa is almost a sehwag like player, chances that these guys click are usually less but when they do its almost game over for the opposition. And thats why you tempted to keep them both, hoping either of them clicks...
Playing spin is not yuvi's forte. He would be vulnerable to murli, will typically go for that high risk sweep, and end up top edging to the wrong one. So our game plan should be letting him play murli as less as possible. so when he comes to bat should be timed well. We dont want him to play entire quota of murli.
kumble is certainly a better bet than bhaji considering very recent form, but then Srilanka have lot of left handers, and so bhaji's off spin will help.

Good sameer. It looks very meaningful. But can v dare to take such good decision. If we follow your line up probebly we can win with out any fuss. It is a more sensible line up. Gangu should be brought down. But i do not think that gangu and bengalis will agree for that!!

Yes, atleast they should give Agarker a break. What about using Sreesanth instead? He also can use his bat. It will be a bright new combination - Sreesanth & Uthapa. SL would never have expected this. Uthapa can take a back stand & Sreesanth can do the early damage.. something similar to what Kaluwidharana used to do when Jayasuriya & Kalu started the whole Pinch Hitting thing.
RE:RE:Team and Strategy
by sameer naik on Mar 23, 2007 10:41 AM Permalink
Well to be honest, ganguly is the only batstmen i can see murli hitting on the long on stands tomorrow. So letting him come down the order shouldn't be seen as a demotion in any way, we want to see him capitalizing on his strengths. Also this is just a make shift for tomorrow's match. And in one of the matches against lanka when he was a regular opener and captain, he him self demoted himself. I am pretty sure this was the reason then.
RE:Team and Strategy
by Abhijit on Mar 23, 2007 12:04 PM Permalink
If Ganguly opens will get blows from Malinga & Vas on Hip or Legs. He should come at 11th spot. As observed in match against Bermuda, he was the only one not able to score run per ball.
RE:RE:Team and Strategy

he has palyed both of them. In any case Vaas doesn't and cant threaten with pace, he relies on swing and control. socha bhi karo kisi ko bhi criticise karne se pahle. c*****a kanhi ka.
RE:Team and Strategy

small correction: If Uthappa fails early, Sehwag should step in, else Dravid. If we dont lose early wickets and caryon with good pace, then he (Dravid) should get back to number 6-7 and come later.

yeah - if uthappa clicks, nothing like it. he's another sehwag in his earlier form. also a fresh batsman wouldnt have been analused as yet by the bowlers - hence he's a better bet at the begining. anyways, lets see them in action, i wouldnt bet on anyone in particular.
