by samuel kumar on Mar 20, 2007 03:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hi,

Its not a cake walk for Indians in their next encounter with Lanka.

This will be the acid test for Indians,Lets see the out come.I am pretty sure Lanka will defeat India.

Their prolific star batsmen like Jaysurya is there.

If you are supporting India give me valid reasons and strategy --game plan who they will go out and perform.

Thanks
Sam

Samuel, what a stupid fellow you are.The team playing better on that particular day wins the match. it can be india or sri lanka. The results show far indicate that. However, being an indian and especially when india takes on sri lanka in a do or die situation, you should have supported and vouched for a win for india, rather than sri lanka (without any prejudice to them, and we would definitely salute you in case you win). Be Indian first, samuel, thereafter whatever you may want to.. have a nice day. hope this message goes to your head, if you have any.

Everything is not Right
by N Venugopal on Mar 20, 2007 02:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What is the worrying factor is that the nos of dot balls in the initial stage of the game. That is especially true of Ganguly. At the one hand he has scored good runs, what is putting following players into pressure cooker situations was the nos of dot balls from Ganguly as a opener. It is better to send Uthappa with Sachin to open the base and send Ganguly as a fifth batsman after Sewhag and Dravid. The palyers will have time to react correctly.

Venugopal, good suggestion. It seems that you are marooned in cricket. I understand your dislike in the case of Dada. He has done the right job, and at times, there may many a dot balls and it is part and parcel of the game. You cannot expect each and every ball to be hit for fours or sixers. He is the seasoned and experienced player and ke knows what he is doing. I am sure there would not be any takers for your senseless suggestion. bloody, shut up your mounth and sit quite simply, watching our dada lofting the balls, in the days to come.

That won't be a good decision. We need someone in the middle to stabilize things a bit, if we have wickets falling like '9 pins' on the other side. Ganguly seems to be the only batsman (currently) capable of doing that.

India will 100% qualify for Super 8 not because of their performance but for below :

As on, in cricket world 100% money comes from indian advertisors like Hutch, Indian Oil, Hero Honda, Pepsi India, LG India (Billions of $)if india not qualify the advertisors would suffer a huge loss and it will impact on futurs of ICC financials.

On other hand the settelite channels all over the world who are telecasting the Cup live are also dependent on Indian Brands and if india stay there for only three match no brand will spend money on channels and the result will be the same as above in case of ICC.

I think you have understand what I mean .......Don't think its all rubbish........it is setting)

well if we beat lanka by 50 runs then bangladesh v/s bermuda would be very interesting to see since bangladesh would need very huge margin of victory ... but the most important thing for India is to beat Sri Lanka .. thn comes other calculations ..

We cant blame Indian team for shocking defeat against Bangladesh%u2026the history saying that Indians has a shaky starts during initial stages, basically they would like to play to their after certain damage done after certain damage done, so we cant blunder Indian team because we are basically Indians%u2026%u2026%u2026%u2026. I hope they will come as a unit and play to their potential%u2026.. best of all luck

Ask yourself Honestly !
by Sathyaprakash Nair on Mar 20, 2007 02:38 PM  Permalink

It was just the hit out and get out policy adopted by the indian team for they had no choice but to put that score if they have to remain in the top 8. It was a sort of do or die policy. In the end you saw how difficult was to wind the Bermuda team from 1/0,2/18,to 10/156. The real game is beating Srilanka and that will decide while the team returns where the flight will land in Mumbai or in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. We pray and wish all the best of luck to the entire team.
