Cricket is not destroyed by a single failure or won by a single game.It is a life time venture in which we are always learning, discovering and growing by a good coach Bob Woolmer. .Hope all will rest in peace...
Life is precious, more so for the family. True, you were human, with more emotions than others. But a thought for the family, instead of your team, would have prevented this great loss to them. Hope you will rest in peace now and look after them well from your heavenly abode.
he was a wonderful cricketer and coach.but pakisthan defeted by ierland.it is not because of him.but only because of the attitude of pakistan cricketers and the faith. my heartfelt condolences to the family of bob.
this is the "biggest upset" news of the world cup...something that we wud never have expected to happen. we can all say "ireland upset pakistan" or "bangladesh upset india"...yes,they are upsets within the playing field. but does it leave any impact on the cricket playing world? india will still play england in england after the world cup & pakistan will go about handling their commitments...indian & pakistani team players and team managements will still be paid!but will we ever have the use of a exceptionally great coach who took the coaching arena by storm by bulldozing south africa into the cricket A-list 5 years ago! did u guys out there know that Bob Woolmer coached the Irish team & many other "minnow-sides" from 2000-2004? thats the impact i am talking about. his coaching skills in those days proved its worth saturday which saw two the most fancied sides in the game plummeting to unexpected lows. to me...and indirectly,to many others...BOB WOLMER'S DEATH IS THE BIGGEST UPSET OF THIS WORLD CUP...AND IT CANNOT BE MATCHED EVEN IF NONE OF THE TOP 8 TEAMS QUALIFIED FOR THE SUPER 8s!!!!!
