Bob Woolmer Dead
by JOGINDER ARI on Mar 19, 2007 01:03 AM  Permalink

I am deeply grieved to know the sad demise of Mr. Robert Andrew Woolmer. I pray that "MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE" and may GOD give courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irrepairable loss.
The Pakistan Govt. must go out of the way to give state honour to Bob and immediately name a cricket stadium after him. In the same stadium the name of the team, who lost to Ireland, should also be engraved who are in a way responsible for his untimely death.
This is to be noted that he was Indian by virtue of his birth in Kanpur in 1948.
My heart felt condolences.

This is an international incident
by Romasocrem on Mar 19, 2007 01:03 AM  Permalink

Nobody knows at this time the cause and manner of death.

If it is indeed determined to be foul play, I hope the guilty will be prosecuted/hanged.

Sadly, this will dominate the news for the next few days.

To the officials: Investigate all avenues of crime and make the autopsy/toxicology report public.

Go after the underworld and murderers with all you have got.(if it is a murder)

If it is murder, let the team involved be banned for the next 10 years.

God Rest his soul and give him peace.

Bob the GREAT!
by Adnan on Mar 19, 2007 01:02 AM  Permalink

May Allah the Almighty bless his soul with peace always and place him in heaven. No matter i am an Indian, but Mr. Woolmer's death is showing how madly Asian's are upto Cricket and as i think the death is a result of the fans demanding much more than everything.....its necessary to think on that!
