This is terrible loss to the world of cricket and also shows how demanding the job of coaching the south asian teams. pressure of coaching, travelling, diet, age might have got him. ive seen some foolish rumour on this forum they are 100% idiots. please stop it and show respect and tribute to bob and not bashing the pakistan team

if you want to show respect to the deceased coach, then bring the guilty to justice and punish them.

But we all know, what is going to happen (just as the drug abusers were let go scott free, so will be.....)

Dear Bob, we miss you

Your dedication to the cricket was so much that you did not care to go and live in country like Pakistan, where there was always a threat to western people. Your contribution to SA and Pakistan team are admirable. You brought back the sportslife to many cricketers like Afridi. Your courage, intelligence and sportsmanship are ideal for us to follow.

I love you and miss you!

My deepest condolences

ANYONE REMEMBERS A CERTAIN AUSTRALIAN COACH BEING ATTACKED OR BURINING STADIUMS IN CALCUTTA AND GOHATI.
THINK BEFORE U OPEN UR MOUTH

The Message to the departed coach
by nawaz on Mar 20, 2007 12:17 AM  Permalink

When someone we love passes away,
We ache, but we go on;
Our dear departed would want us to heal,
After they are gone.

Grief is a normal way to mend
The anguish and pain in our hearts;
We need time to remember and time to mourn,
Before the recovery starts.

Let's draw together to recuperate,
As we go throught this period of sorrow;
Let's help each other, with tender care
To find a brighter tomorrow.

Bob as rightly expressed is a man of stature and stood by his wards, even his act of diluting the shock within the team is a testimony of his great ability to take up the main shock - A true leader and Captain.!!!!!
May his soul rest in peace

wishful thinking that he died of heart attack is one thing. But given the situations and reports more likely that he has been murdered. people suffering a heart attack dont go on vomiting all around

Sounds like you badly want to believe that there was foul play. Instead of paying respects to a great coach and giving condolences to a great cricketing team which is struggling with intense anguish from so many sides, you are simply piling on false and baseless attacks. What kind of true cricket fan would do that?

once the autopsy results are out, 'doodh ka doodh, paani ka paani' ho jaayega, ie of course, it is not hushed up by PCB.

One should pay respect to this great coach, by bringing the culprits to justice, and not by letting them go scott free like the druggies were.

As for great cricketing team goes, we are not complaining about ireland in here

Goodbye Bob!
by vikrant narvekar on Mar 19, 2007 09:21 PM  Permalink

Bob Woolmer revolutionised the cricket. SA under his mentorship was a team to reckon with and could match up with Australia in all the departments of the game. His tragic demise has shocked everyone associated with cricket and may his departed soul rests in peace. We also pray for the Woolmer family gets the strenght to come out of this tragic loss
