Pak coach
by Sarnath Kannan on Mar 19, 2007 06:12 AM  Permalink

Bob was a great man! The only mistake he did was to decide to coach a set of unruly men. That took the toll!

Pak board must have taken stern action when their players mis-behaved with him earlier.

At this point, I see only one thing. Most of the white men r thorough professionals and give everything for what they believe is right. It is a great thing that every men can learn from them.

I am not a white fan or anything. But I am seeing the bright side of the western world! There r other good things with Asians too. The one I admire is the feeling of togetherness and bondage, which is essentially lacking in the west.

May Bob's soul rest in peace.

There should be a pronmpt investigation on the cause of his death and offenders ,if any, must be harshly dealt with.

Bad for Pakis
by REDIFF ROCKS on Mar 19, 2007 06:02 AM  Permalink

Its really shocking and bad for paki cricket. 11 guys play bad and the coach dies of heart attack.. that shows his dedication and how personally he took the game for pakistan.. shame on paki cricketers.. They may all deny it but indirectly or directly the loss to Ireland is the cause.
He did really care for them. I hope our Indian so called "Heros" take a lesson else Greg is next on the list.

Bob was a gr8 coach ....he had worked really hard with the players bt these idiots let him down..I think it was the sheer pressure of defeat that led to his collapse...I still cant believe this ...I am deeply saddened..My hearty condolences to his family ...
