Bob was a great coach and a gentle man who attibuted a lot to the game.

we must learn a lesson from his untimely n shocking death.

When our cricketers emerge triumphant we hold them in high esteem and treat thyem like Gods, but when they fail we carry all the outbursts against them ridiculing them insulting them and abusing them. Why dont we grow up.They are human beings like us not machines>Dont we have highs and lows in our lives and performances. So why be selfish.

May God rest Bobs soul in peace and give courage to his family.

Bob Woolmer
by Subramanian K on Mar 19, 2007 07:55 AM  Permalink

Cricket is only a game. It is to be taken only like that. Somebody losing his life for a game is really very sad.

May Bob's soul rest in peace.

Bob - One of the greatest coaches ever
by Joseph Matcha on Mar 19, 2007 07:27 AM  Permalink

Bob was a great coach, manager and a team man. He really took the teams to the next level always and tried to be one amongst them always. I was just thinking why we Indians never wanted him to be our coach. Now that he is no more i want everyone of the cricket fans across the globe to remember him as someone who has done tremendous work in cricket which made everyone enjoy this game irrespective of their country winning or losing. It was great to have you here Bob. Be at Peace
