He had been having a hard time off-late due to the volatile cricketing scene in Pakistan. There have been reported incidents of sustained bad behaviour and man-handling of Woolmer at the hands of some of Pakistani cricket stars.
I hope Woolmer's family overcomes this tragic event and I pray for his soul rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and cricketing fracternity.
