A LEGEND
by Rajesh Choumal on Mar 19, 2007 12:13 PM  Permalink

Bob Woolmer was a great person who loved his profession by the heart and he had showed to the world as well as the Pakistan Cricket Team and Pakistan people that he was the most committed person in the Team.

The World will miss a great human being.

Cause of Death
by Rohit Gupta on Mar 19, 2007 12:13 PM  Permalink

Is is really shocking to hear of the demise of the an icon in cricket. Apart from his new ideas and approaches, his integrity was unquestionable.
Now with so much money being placed as bet illegally on cricket in the Indian subcontinent, the stakes are very high with players / officials / organizers running the risk of being confronted by the racquet to make the results work out in their favour. Has the reason been ascertained as being completely natural and no hint of foul play involved. The way the Indian and Pakistan teams have played raises a very strong doubt, their losses being orchestered, like that in WWF.
Never the less Bob will be missed by cricket and cricketing fans

i pray to the almighty for the eternal rest of his soul.
death is truth...
but truth behind his suspicious death must come out. I suspect, it is not his natural death.

Bob Woolmer & Cricket
by bcm cms on Mar 19, 2007 12:10 PM  Permalink

It is a sad day for cricket lovers to loose some one like Bob Woolmer.Blame is equally on media and the hype created in both India & Pakistan. Also the cricketers are protrayed as Gods and lots of advertisements and interviews on these fellows, particularly in India is one of the reasons. Why dont we make our system such that earnings are only from cricket and not from Advts & ramp shows!!!!

Atleast then the team plays hard and wins (like Australia)

lets stop the cricket mania.
by sri kongara on Mar 19, 2007 12:08 PM  Permalink

First of all every one should remember cricket is sport and nothing else.why people are bringing such heavy emotions like burning effigies and blackening cricketer's houses.the people who burnt the effigies has to go and play there.

It is clearly evident that bob woolmer has died because of tremendous pressure.Lets stop bringing emotions in to sports and save sports men lives.

really shocking
by ritesh mohini on Mar 19, 2007 12:07 PM  Permalink

This is really shocking for all of us. He was a visionary person and he could see the future of the cricket very well. He was very very innovative as a coach. This is by far the biggest loss of a real thinking coach and a very good human being. The way it has happened, creates more trauma all over the globe. We will really miss him & his trick.
