Mr.Woolmer you were the success of Pakistan and not the Pakistan team or any body else. It's unfortunate that u are no more physically. But u will still remain in all the Cricket lovers hearts across the world. May ur soul rest in peace.

It is not great loss for pakistan alone but for the cricketing world as a whole. He is the greatest coach that the world has ever produced. If he hs been for few more years he would have india's coach. May his soul rest in peace.

Good Bye Bob
by Mohd Khalid on Mar 19, 2007 12:58 PM  Permalink

Bob, you will be remembered as the best coach around.Under your tenure, the growth of south Africa was phenominal. I don't know what made you think to join Pak squad which is always very rude not only with their senior players but also with the coach. I would always think you to coach India.

May god bless you in Heaven

Very sad news
by Ranjit Jha on Mar 19, 2007 12:56 PM  Permalink

Game is part of life, not life.

It shows sports are now fully commercialized, and politicalized. Its necessary to ignore this part from game. Develop a kind of environment where game is game, lose or win is part of the game, nothing else. So we need to make sure that this should not happen again.

may god bless him.

HEARTIEST CONDOLENCE - A VERY VERY SAD DEMISE
by Zakir Hossain on Mar 19, 2007 12:56 PM  Permalink

We win .. We lose. it is a part of the Game.. but when we take this into the egoistic matter, there we tend to lose someone, someone very close to our heart. Bob Woolmer would have lived more than his current age but the defeat shocked him. A very very sad demise in the World of cricket. So, I being an Indian appeal to our Indian Cricket (hardcore) Fan to be cool and clam.. whether India do exit from the World Cup. Life is very Important than a Game. So, Please, Please give India a chance.
