sports is not life. its a kind of entertainment. Media is somewhat to blame too. They just wanna roast their Pappadum on burns of failures and make things unnecessary sensational. This was the coach who built and made SA one of the greatest sides. God bless him
I was shocked to hear that Bob Woolmer is no more and I feel very bad for him because his wishes remained unfulfilled at the time of his end.He was very committed as a coach and did all what he was capable of for the benefit of the Pakistan Cricket team despite having some rough patches with the team members from time to time.I send my extreme gratitude for the bereaved family members and friends of Woolmer.May his soul rest in peace.
we mourn the death of one of world's greatest coaches. his demise is a sad reminder of how a game can become a matter of life and death when overhyped. wins and losses are part of game no matter how big they are and should be taken that way and should not be overhyped to an extent that it takes its toll on a life of indiavidual. i can just hope that media will learn a lesson from it and hence forth will not sensationalise such matters, avoid excessive criticism and will kee away from instigting extreme public emotions.
All I would say is it is Sad. But I would also agree with some my friends on this board, that the cause of his death should be independantly investigated
