Sad and untimely demise of Bob Woolmer
by arun banerjee on Mar 19, 2007 09:37 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We are eally very sad to hear about BobWoolmer's death. As a coach he had earned tremendous admiration and respect in cricket world. It is sad that he was brought in groom the Pak team for 2007 world cup , but the Pak team was knocked out . I am sure the stress took his life.

I am sure one of the spoilt boys in Pak team must have kick his s . He deserves that since no one in the team likes him and still continued to be a coach. Pak team througout the years has played not through professionalism but through leadership which they believe. Take example of Imran khan and wasim akram or Javed Miandad.
I think our coach should take example from death of bob and return to his native and have srikanth been apointed as coach as under his tenure we won two junior world cup. For god sake remove Agarkar and Virendra sehwag and bring back laxman, he deserves the place.

You don't know the fall of Krish, when bowler like Vasim Akram knew his weakness and he was bowled many times at zero to 10, mostly in the hands of Akram. Even One bouncer hit him to his head. He frightened to face boucer from left hand bowler afterwards and it goes till his career's end.

U cannot blame coach for every thing.

U cannot blame that your teacher is/was not good when you are not performing at your exams.
Make also yourself responsible and only hardwork, proper planning and its execution only wins.
Agains Bangladesh, the game was not planned properly by Indian cricket team.

Also, If same team brings the world cup, you will never say or bring your word back. So keep cool.

We cannot make a cricket as khilona in the hands of other.

Ready to lose to Bermuda and Sri Lanka if...
by Jagdish Singh on Mar 19, 2007 09:29 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dravid decides to retire (like Inzy) and Chappell is atleast willing to go on a pilgrimage (taking a leaf from woolmer's sad book). Ganguly Rocks. Let him be the coach.

Good thinking...But a bit of correction.....Ganguly has a lot of play left before he becomes a coach... Let us make Sandeep Patil as the coach.. remember his contribution for the Kenya team in the last world cup?
