What about Chappel
by Rahul on Mar 19, 2007 10:50 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If India loses to Bermuda today, what will happen to Chappel. Will he vomit and die. If India wins also He should either resign or get him out with immediate action. Mahinder Amarnath should be appointed as new coach. Why India needs a Firongi coach.

Sudden demise of Woolmer's
by Swaraj Kunal on Mar 19, 2007 10:42 AM  Permalink

Well we Indian are also shocked with the sudden demise of Bob woolmer its not just because his birthplace is in India. It's also because of the fact that he took cricket coaching to the new era, where technology plays a crucial role. No doubt he is a gr8 coach, but at the same time a good humanbeing also as he always praise the team for his splendid performance, and to face harsh criticism in face of defeat.
many of you must agree with my points, that public outrage is responsible for his untimely death. We must note that cricket is just a game.

PAKISTAN COACH WOOLMER'S DEATH
by STANLEY MONTHU MENEZES on Mar 19, 2007 10:42 AM  Permalink

Real Tragedy, shocking for the cricketworld. May his soul rest in peace. As he was a diabetic and serious threatening rays from the cricket lovers of Pakistan and an exit of Pak Team from WC has definitely hurt him. If someone has read the slogan of the great legend of Pak Cricket Ramiz Raja "Heads will Roll", anti slogans from Pak mob threatening "Arrest Them immediately upon arrival including the coach, committee chairman and the team", this sort of calls too might have made him scary and nervous. Indian and Pakistani cricket lovers can do anything for cricket if their teams fail in such a great event. Sorry for that

Keep cricket in its place
by Tridip Sarma on Mar 19, 2007 10:40 AM  Permalink

Cricket is just a game. Please don't make it a life and death business with all the hype.

Regarding Indian Team, the loss to Bangladesh is not surprising because that is the real Indian team as of now. rest is our imagination only.

Sincere condolence for Bob who was a real professional who broght Cricket analysis culture.

tragic incident
by shoe panja on Mar 19, 2007 10:39 AM  Permalink

Its really a very tragic incident. He was a great coach and the cricket world will surely miss him badly. What I feel is he chose a wrong team to coach and manage. Pakistan cricket team is the most indisciplined one. You can never expect consistency from them... they all are good at just one thing - bravado. I feel Bob took Pakistan's loss to Ireland to the heart. We extend our condolences to his family for his untimely death.
