What people conviniently forget that Dravid was the architect of India's defeat in the match against Sri Lanka. He played as slowly as any one else. His over all run rate looks better only because he hit 4 fours in over from Malinga after which he got out without losing time. He was singularly responsible for Yuvraj getting run out. It was Yuvi's call and Yuvi had almost reached the other end before he was asked to go back. While highlighting Ganguly's weakness in running between wickets, the ruling cliquewe chooses to forget the same about Dravid because they want to ignore it. If only Dravid had continued for some more time, if only he had not caused Yuvi's run out, India would have won as was shown by the stubborn resistance by the tail. Is any one listening. Dravid is desparately trying to find out some one so that the team can do without Ganguly. He is backing Sahwag, he played his Ranji team mate Utthapa hoping that at least one of them will click so that he can get Ganguly off his back. His desparate experiments have cost India dear. Are we having a team to suit Dravid or a team to represent India?

Very easy to blame captain, What about other 10 players players%u2019s the lack of commtiment , lack of passion to win/perform, , poor body languge or groupism or petty politics played against captain and coach spending time in crease for sponsers cause, playing for self records, many players think they are leaders and not to led by skipper, superstar attitude .. When a player is playing the biggest event of cricket , players should be hungry ot perform team india lost matches b'cuz batsman let down team.

Gangster Ganguly was just ill for one day, when Dravid got the captaincy to disturb Sachin consecutive third 200 in a row. Gangster Ganguly made the team to reach into world cup final like tigers, when even 1983's team was like some ordinary one before Kapil's mind blowing performance.
Gangster!!!! what an abuse?? No body ever questioned Dravid for his battings and neither anyone was with bad wishes to him, when he took over the captaincy, but what happened afterward has been biggest shame to India. Just look at current test, your Emperer got out on 2 on 11 balls, probably, he can't downgrade his standard to play against Bangladesh.

Sharad, Do u want the team to perform? Or you simply want sachin n saurav out? If it's so easy to score against b'desh, then even the youngsters would cement a place without countering quality opposition. What abt that? Performance should be the sole criterion for selection. Age should not be a bar as long as player is able to compensate for his weak areas through his scoring/bowling. You need to look at bowling, batting, fielding/running between wickets in totality. Looking at only one parameter won't give you the right picture.

I agree with your Ideology to select 11 IDEAL players " to look at bowling, batting, fielding/running between wickets in totality" but my dear friend in my opinion AT PRESENT, I repeat AT PRESENT there are not 11 such players who are at par international standard on all pitches NOT in sub continent pitches hero??? Except Bangladesh against which team u r going to test youngsters???
REQUEST-- Forget your heavily demanded criterie just name your 11 players 5 specialist bowlers 5 specialist batsmen 1 GENIUNE all rounder (not batting or bowling all rounder)

balls than runs he scored, build pressure for the batsman by not taking single or rotating strike,gave the catch parctice to opposition filders in 42 over, did not bothered take tamim;s simple catch druing agarkar bowling and gave more runs to bangadesh by poor fielding than the runs he scored for team, major architect to gift match to bangladesh. He tried the same against bermuda but it did not clicked. he could not stand aganisn strong bowling SL, ganguly is most succeful politician and betrayed team and millions fans and made sure his record stat in WC did not harmed and tried to prove dravid not good captian. An deliberate attempt to team ind loose match ganguly betrayed dalmiay, sachin and now dravid ganguly is selfish, oppertunitst a cheap politician. He is not only promoting groupism, also spoiling sprots spirit of youngestes by encouraging them to play petty politics. Now players bajji and dhoni who joined his group lost the place in team. But getting back into team will be difficult task b'cuz many youngsters are knocking team ind door. By this time all players realised taht playing on the grond will bring reward but not from backstage politics. so no more support to dadas.. dravid gave 100% commitment and performed for team when he played under ganguly but he trusted ganguly sachin dhoni bajji agarkar zzahir like senior players and backfired by same group.

motivation shud be questioned. other players' ganguly played like a match fixer in all the matches in this WC. he played slowly in the match against bermuda too. against bagladesh he was terribly slow. he must be grilled by anti corruption sleuths questioning his intentions. dravid's odi batting average against SA and australia is better than ganguly and sachin both are opeining batsman? but dravid batting in outside india against strong bowling line up is better than ganguly and sachin ganguly was non performing captain for later 3yers of his captaincy but survived in team b'cuz of influence of dalmaiy. ganguly did not deserved to XII man team b'cuz his poor form and pathatic batting but he did not loose captaicny bajji went wktless and gave too many runs he latested achievement is that HE WAS INFORMED BY ICC TWICE FOR HIS WRONG ACTION. DHONI can bat only on dead ptiches of subcontinent and failed in WI SA. dinesh karhik is better wkt keeper and opened innings and won 20-20 match in SA it is unfortuante 2 ex captains are playing petty politics in dressing room with the strong marathi lobby and politicians support sachin and ganguly great players should fight battle on ground no more backstage politics if senior players are not supporting captain why don't blame the individual players dravid played under leaderhsip of sachin and ganguly he gave 100% to team, supported captain and perfomed against all strong teams and won many odis and tests. How & why you think they are getting that adds & money? why not you & me dont get? Or is it only because there names are SACHIN,DRAVID & DHONI? According to me they are getting because they have Done there hard work & now earning,whats wrong if they are earning the money? Are they doing adds when they are paying on the grounds?
