remove Chapell, Sehwag, Tendulkar , Dravid and most importantly BCCI selectors(Pawar,...) immediately
by jay b on Mar 18, 2007 11:46 PM  Permalink

these players and BCCI selectors earn crores by doing Ads,..... why do you think they would be bothered to even play good in matches. Chapell is at his task of destroying indian cricket and is doing it good. only a miracle can save indian cricket for now ....

need to find long term solution
by shahul hamid on Mar 18, 2007 11:44 PM  Permalink

wat happened between ind vs bangladesh is not something that v c for the first time. its been a regulation almost every other match. burning effigies or stoning players house will not solve the purpose. concrete steps need to be taken. v dont need players showing more of themselves in adds. v dont need players with weak heart. v dont need players with old feet. bring players like soldiers who would rather go down fighting even if v lose a match. players who only aim to win the match and not 100s or 50s. in this indian one 50 or 100 almost reserves that particular for atleast 8 to 15 odi. its not shame v lost to bangladesh. its shame the way v lost to bangladesh. v criticise aussies for their onfield behaviour. did somebody see how harbhajan behaved in that match. dravid is fool to insist on sehwag selection if sehwag is not in form or loss of confidence. if at all he wanted sehwag then he should not send him in opening. bangladesh tasted blood once they got sehwag early and the whole team almost crumbled immediately. losing sehwag early played in this psychologically weak indian team. Bangla Tigers Put cap on Blue Billion
by ashok chere on Mar 18, 2007 11:36 PM  Permalink

congrats to Bangladesh. Now all the kids having exams can forget all about cricket and concentrate on studies. for it is certain that India would not even reach to the Super 8.

Come back home Boys. you can only win in India. we can't see you losing to Bermuda as well. You are responsible for the breaking of many t.v. sets and hearts

emotional fans!
by rehman m on Mar 18, 2007 11:24 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Although Im not supporting the act of burning effigy.but when our cricket team enjoys too much hero worshiping, garlanding, pooja prformance, prayers, endorsements, public attention and popularity on one extreme(from the same fans)..... Then they should be ready to face the other extreme also ( especialy when not performing)...
