minnows rule
by shrinivasrao on Mar 18, 2007 12:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its bad that the Pakis lost to Ireland. It would have been better if they had lost to Bermuda.
As for the Indians, the less said the better. But it is time to sack Sachin and Sehwag. Enough mollycoddling.

Guys, we must acknowledge that India is justified in feeling CHEATED,CHEATED. How you ask? Our guys were not told that the wickets would bounce, swing, seam, play true etc. or that the Bangla players would show amazing zeal, application, discipline and commitment. You see everytime they get in front of the cameras other wise they have a dozen satraps telling them all that they need to know like where to apply the make up or brylcream and at what angle to bend their elbows and knees. They expected that at the world cup also and feel cheated that they were left on their own. No wonder they fell flat on their faces. On a television shoot everytime one of our superheroes dives for the ball they actually come up with the ball in their hands, sometime having covered half a mile and diving 20 feet all in 24 seconds!!

BCCI is full of politics
by pradip datta on Mar 18, 2007 12:07 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BCCI is full of politics

The way they behaved with Dalmiya an able administrator it shows their ability. Also they removed Ganguly for non cricketing reasons which is totally shameful.

People should raise voice against these BCCI administrators and pull them down.

After this world cup CHAPPEL should be sacked.

I agree that BCCI is full of Politics. But u idiot bengalis stop this non-sense of Dalmiya-Ganguly bhajans. They were kicked out because it was the call of those days. Now don't say Ganguly is the today's top-scorer. He has realised this only after being kicked out. The same should be done to all non-performing players including Sachin. If u want to win, have a professional attitude towards the game. Stop this bullshit of regionalism. Enough is enough... We all Indians should wake up and stop idolising these cricketers who are making crores of money only because of the undue importance we give to them

No, this is not about Irish but about English, for a change.

How can the day be the saint? I guess you wanted to write "...on St Patrick's Day, after the Irish patron saint.

i hope the team has an early exit that they deserve... the pathetic agarkar must be kicked out of the team... i dont remember even one good performance by him... he is an a**le in the team....
