Something Fishy?????
by Neo Prince on Mar 18, 2007 03:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Have you all noticed, irrespective of who wins the toss, it is always the STRONGER teams that bat first against the MINNOWS.

My logic is this. Probably there are orders from some unknown quarters to all the team captains, that the STRONGER ones should bat first. Reason being, if the minnows bat first, there is always a possibility that the matches will end within just 2-3 hours leading to financial losses through advertisements and other possible sources.

Definitly looks fishy. Is it the media world or the betting world, that is influencing the whole scene?

Just a few thoughts!!

PAK Out!
by Sridhar MN on Mar 18, 2007 02:56 PM  Permalink

One Asian giant out! The second one (India) almost on it's way. Only a miracle can save them now. I hope they atleast manage to win against Bermuda. It's time for every single Indian to stop supporting Cricket and support other sports like Tennis, Golf etc.. where some Indians are atleast putting up a spirited fight.

The wicket was green, any team batting first would of struggled.

The pitches in west-indies are too juicy. they move even in 28th over.

still pakistan played poor, so much experience but they failed.

but the win was good for irish cricket. cricket is not played few countries.
