What u say pal, it is a big game plan by the BCCI for quite sometime when they hoisted Sachin as the vice captain in place of Sehwag, It is the same goal when Dillip deliberately and cleverly shirked of the responsibilty of taking Sehwag in the team. Now all r bent upon sacking Dravid, we r also falling into the same gameplan which steers its way to remove dravid from captiancy and hand it over to Sachin. Most of the time I am at loss to understand that what experiments of Mr. Greg, we were hearing & Talking about for the preperations for WC 2007 Great Event. In retrospect it seems that preperation was a)Preparing captain not to identify the pitch conditions b)How to encourage the weak teams by allowing them to win against a team statiscally boasting thousands of runs against their names c)Raise the ego of the captain so much that he feels shy in consulting his predecessor Ganguly who is known for attacking cricket.d)Keep on pampering Mr. Tendulkar for his past deeds for which he has been amply rewarded and has minted money in billions.e)Keep on supporting the players who have delivered in the past and present form is not a matter of cocern. These are part of GREAT EXPERIMENTS and are certainly idiotic on the part of Guru G. Its high time to learn from Bangladesh that player's mental toughness and present form is MOST IMPORTANT and rest is all bullshit.Let us not rely on the past statistics let all the present lot of jokers representing India at the WC2007 now do or die and try to salvage the prestige of great cricket sporting country called INDIA. I would consider it below my dignity to talk about More, who was just destined to be chief selector, otherwise he was never a deserving candidate for the position.

Hi Joginder, I fully agree with you. These people over the years have not learnt from their rival teams how to improve the winning graph. I wont even blame Mr Greg rather these jokers who very well know that cricket in India is a religion, not just a sports. It binds the entire country into one. I dunno what is Dravid upto...one could see him consulting Tendulkar during the match who himself could not be a successful captain. is his ego of not consulting the most capped captain, Ganguly more than the pride of the country? Perform or perish is the motto which was used to send a person of ganguly's calibre sit out of the team for a while then why not Sehwag..this guy has really demoralized the rest of the team with disastrous starts for more than 2 yrs and WC is not a testing ground, its a battle field where there is no second chance. Can these words be understood by our so called Indian captain? Gosh!these guys are good for nothing.

sehwag should be sacked immediately from the team..how dumb can the BCCI get..taking a non performing player in the team makes no sense at all..even if he scores a resonable 45 or a 60 he will again get back to bullshit...Gautam Gambhir was a far better choice..

Gambhir was sacrificed to accomodate Sehwag in the Team. Gambhir was fit to open for India with Robin. Gangulli might have scored but the age is not in his side. He should come at No.4 or 5

I'd rather go with Suresh Raina who can chip in valuable runs and can be a terrific fielder.Atleast this lad has the right body language...Sehwag, Gambhir are players who are well past their "sell by" date..getting stale!!I think Dravid will have to take the blame for winning the toss and electing to bat, that too with Sehwag as the opener.Bangladesh's win against New Zealand should have been a wake call for India, but then "Team India" is known for not learning lessons from their own mistakes forget about others mistakes!!!!
Wish we could drop few of our players like this. Maybe give them more time to do the shameful ads and make more money. I love the pepsi advt do you know why? Soon the cricketers will get such a beating that they will stop flying and start using Indian Railways as shown in the pepsi ad. It is time we strike at the root of evil. Kiran More and Sharad Pawar to settle score with dalmiya threw ganguly out. Leading a side like india from the front is not easy. Ganguly was failing as a player but not as captain. he used his brain well. Isnt victory the ultimate goal. can you give an example when dravid used his brain. If India is failing it is not due to what happened yesterday. It is because Kiran More and pawar disturbed a combination that was at least a finalist in last world cup. get your facts right i never mentioned above that Sehwag is from Mumbai. If you still want to protect the lobby be there at Mumbai International Airport to receive your stalwarts soon. LOGIC USE KIYA AB. Last but not the least... Even Azhar would have been a better choice than dravid.Simply because he would have found alternative ways to get the cup :-) Now take the joke in the right spirit cheers

This is ridiculous!In a day you make dhoni a superhero &the very next day you bring down his house is under-construction.Winning&alosing is part of the game. All this is the result of unnecessary media hype created around the team&the WC. You are the one who is showing regional bias by making irrelevant comment on More,Pawar&Rahul and hence terming it as maharashtrian lobbying. Do remember the team is not just comprised of Maharashtrians,the likes of sehwag are equally responsible or would you rather term Chappel too a Maharashtrian. To stop regional bias there is a need dissolve the 5-member selection panel&bring in more efficient&well-versed system.Forgot the politics played by Bindra&Dalmiya?.

you cannot deny that more pawar lobby threw saurav out. no one in india can deny that. read other blogs on other channels, one way or the other everyone is saying that. regional bias is not in me but is the BASIC SELECTION POLICY and selectors themselves are selected on the same basis. so how do you expect them to be neutral. you also say so in the end that dissolve the selection panel and bring in a better system. i agree fully. but still cant accept what pawar and more did and what we see is a result of what they did. Remember what more said "I dont want sourav in MY TEAM". what do you mean MY TEAM. They chose to believe an australian guy and dumped the most successful captain. You need brains as well in cricket and what Greg and Rahul have is clear from the past few months. Also I know about Bindra and Dalmiya and the politics. I also know that during their days India was a finalist. As i said END RESULT MATTERS. Also I have yet not said a word about Agarkar who is perhaps worse than Sehwag. How he has managed to keep his place for so long. He gets injured before he is dropped. So would be the case soon. Keep watching for an injured Agarkar. Tendulkar. Hard fact: India is out of the world cup 07. should not blame masses for supporting & dreaming false hopes on magnificient 11 sixers (translate) in general becoz we, the patriotic people of our motherland, got no other way to express our love toward our nation. Had we not put our extreme love & false hopes on these super 11 sixes, pepsi would have been rs.3/-per litre, Reebock shoes would be rs.800/per pair & all Hutch outgoing would be free!
