Gary Sobers was the first to hit six consecutive Sixes from six deliveries in a single over. The unfortunate bowler, Malcolm Nash, almost stopped the onslaught with his fifth ball of the over when Roger Davis, fielding near the boundary at long off, caught one of Sobers. almighty blows but then fell over the boundary rope.
Second Our good old Ravi Shastri: Six of the sixes came off a single over of the left arm spinner Tilak Raj. Wondering who Tilak Raj is... then... Tilak Raj (born Jan 15, 1960) in Delhi was an Indian cricketer who played for Baroda. He is best known for being the unfortunate victim of Ravi Shastri's six sixes in an over in 1985. It was only the second instance of this in First Class Cricket.

the children and small boys from the netherlands. and rediff gives this news, shame
I think the new teams like Bermuda, Netherlands, Scotland, Canada & Ireland should NOT be allowed to play the World cup. It has adverse effects. ('NOT' was missing in my previous message ;-)

Hey but then how do you feel that popularity of cricket will increase in their respective nations if they are not allowed to play in the international arena

I feel that playing is Important not WINNING specially for new comers, good to see lot of new countries adopting CRICKET.... But ya ICC should help them in coaching and funding..... NP HOLAND... KEEP IT UP... And well done GIBBS... not a mean achievement by any means coz all people have chance to play against the weaker side but its GIBBS who did it!!!!!
Those sixes were like ballistic missiles.Gibbs has sent shockwaves to other teams.Saluting the genius. He was the player who destroyed Australia's record score in South Africa
hello, well done gibbs......six sixes in an over...wow!!!!ok it was a weak side but still an intnl one, isnt it?and netherlands is not that weak too!!hitting six in a row do require immese courage and initiative to go for anything....i must say indians should forget chapell for a while and learn from GURU GIBBS:)....What say??
