Mr. Lele and Rediff
by Ramesh Patil on Mar 16, 2007 09:54 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think Mr. Lele has been consuming deshi daroo!! He has not given any solid reason to support his statements.

I think Mr. Lele speaks like so many fans on this message board. May be he writes some of the positive but wild statements about the Indian teams chances in this World Cup.

It is good that he is supporting the team. He is the same person who had humiliated Agarkar in the press during the 99 World Cup.

I wonder what made him change his tune ..... deshi daroo or videshi paisa??

Lele peele daroo deshi;
ramesh ko bhi thora dena
Woh hai pyasi,
Yeh saab dekhke mujhe aata hai haansi;
Kokatta mein language school hai mera,
Chale aawo deshi videshi,
Or Krnmora ko 10000 front back kick,
India win today.

Logical flaw
by Ram on Mar 16, 2007 09:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Lele says he is sure that India will reach the final, but cannot say for sure if it will win. Regarding the other finalist, he says "It could be Australia or South Africa; it could be New Zealand or Sri Lanka; it could also be Pakistan or West Indies. But all I'm sure about is that India will be in the final."

Well, if there are so many choices for the finalist, how can he be so sure that India will reach the final?! Unless of course he thinks that India is the best, and all these others are fighting it out for second place. If he thought India is the best, then why is he not sure about India winning?

Sorry for being picky, but such glaring inconsistencies are annoying.

Ram,
after reading ur comments, I am annoyed. ok guys come up.... if someone says India will win , you will ask them how? if someone says India will lose, you will say them that "Pathetic loser w/o confidence" . Idiots first come up in life . This is Lele point of view, may be he is rite , may be he is wrong?
Pls Idiots like u and Ramesh patil should commit sucide.

Ram, I think what you have mentioned makes a lot of sense. Your right, Lele is just putting up a false show of confidence in India reaching the final.

And your critic, SEL KUMAR ( what kind of a dumb name is that by the way) --- his uncouth attitude is a reflection of his upbringing. SEL, i think your the fool out here, why dont you just keep shut so that your foolishness stays hidden!!!!!

Going back to 18th century
by RISHI RAJ on Mar 16, 2007 09:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Rediff has lost its standard by interviewing sub/below standard people like Kiran More, some political activists and srk for gaining cheap publicity and undue contravercy.

We do not look for such stupid issues.Make some constructive contributions and bring out burning issues like corruptions,political issues and something good for commonmen.

Just be patient with Sehwag
by Sudeep on Mar 16, 2007 09:28 PM  Permalink

I think it is time for the law of averages to move to the positive side for Sehwag. He had a pretty long bad patch, so may be he is going to have a long good patch. Even if he fails, we have Robin Uthappa. Patience pays, and one lesson we Indians should learn from Ganguly episode is just that! Peace!

Elebele Jayanta Lele
Kahanse ele;
God knows where and why these people are discovered by rediff guys;
These people board officials and very ordinary players like Kiran are given undue importance by the rediff,
Whats the use of listening to these guys and if it is so why not listen to the cooks and butlers and drivers of the team hotels and team bus.
Rediff yoy are really becoming boring now a days.
No harm if you at least dropsuch items.

Do not misunderstand me.
I have temendous respect for the Gujaratis as very intelligent people.
I meant to say that rediff should be more selective in picking up persons to be interviewed keeping the context in mind.
Lele would definitely have been a better person to comment on organisational and administrative matters. Perhaps I was a little bit hardh comparing him with hotel employees or bus driver.
It was an excessive exuberance from a persona non grata like me, forgive me reader.
