Kapil dev against Zimbabwe in 1983 but the match telecast was not available . he scored 175 with a good partnership from kirmani

Sure sir!

Pitch would be more appropriate! Wicket is just a form of usage. Literally 'wicket' means the three stumps, but since there are 'three stumps' across 22yrds, the convenient form of conversation, we say 'wicket'....comprende??

Actually wicket is a corrupted form of wicked. If someone gets your wicket, he is very wicked.
But Pitch is the stip on which you pitch (meaning bounce) the ball
