table covered by headlines on the right
by Truth Seeker on Mar 14, 2007 08:54 PM  Permalink

I can't see the whole table. It's partly covered on the right by the headlines. Could you fix your table to be within it's limited space in the middle? Or rediff team may have to change their template to make headlines "Today in Movies" and "Today in Sports" collapsable.

By the way, why do you want to have this news right after the first match. Every knows whoever did well in the only match which occurred so far would be heading the MVP list. It's kind of stupid to report it.

I agree it is wrong calclation by your calculation India has already won the WC and Ganguly is the captain holding it.

Its Incorrect !!!
by Arun on Mar 14, 2007 07:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This system has lots of flaws, for e.g. Chanderpaul was playing when the new ball was a lot & he has negative points, worse Chris Gayle scored just 2 runs and he has better points than chanderpaul. Proper weightage needs to be given. Also, some matches will be played in a bowler friendly pitch, where scoring 50 of 100 balls would be a match winning performance, but I believe this system will deduct points.

Regards.
